They hauled away the old fence and cleaned up after the installation of the new one. They were professional and courteous and took the time to answer any questions we had. "What a great company! We had over 300 feet of treated wood fencing we wanted done - about 100 of privacy and 200 of open slats. We got 4 estimates and I have to say that AAF came out in a timely manner - I didn't have to wait days. I think they came out the next day. Nino (owner) was fast and "no frills" which I love. He answered all my questions and wasn't pushy and didn't come across as superior to other companies. His price was good. But the main reason we chose him is there was no wait. He was willing to come out the next week plus we saved some money. Also his installers are real fence installers - not just people who are picked up for a job. Once our K was signed, Miss Utility came out and in a couple more days the lumber was delivered and in a couple hours the fence installers showed up and went to work. They were so fast - first they had to remove our old chain link and then they laid the posts. The next day they put up the rest of the fence. There were only 3 men and they worked efficiently and professionally. The fence is beautiful - so straight and perfect. We were so impressed with the workmanship and quality. Jim (the salesman) was very easy to work with and accommodated all of our design choices. We found particular latches and handles that we wanted to use, and they agreed to install them for us. The contract process was quick and straightforward. After about six weeks, they were ready to install the fence. They sent out two crews at the same time, plus the owner Steve, who worked alongside them. With seven people working, they managed to finish the entire job in just one day! Our old wood fence was completely removed in about 15 minutes, and then they meticulously installed the new fence, setting all the posts into wet concrete and making sure all the sections were straight. At the end of the long day, when one of the locking gate latches wasn’t working right, Steve patiently worked on it until eventually we realized the part was defective, so he replaced it with a working one. A certain kind of handle had to be ordered, and as soon as it came in, he came back to install it. The fence materials are extremely high quality—the vinyl feels very thick and sturdy, unlike the kind sold at the home improvement stores. And the new fence has completely transformed the look of our property—we’ve already had several compliments from neighbors. "Positive: - Cedar fence looks good. Delivered to specs. - Installation crew was friendly, worked quickly. - Process of getting the initial quote and then revised quotes was efficient. - Price was in line with market, competitive Issues - We were told 1-2 weeks lead time, it ended up being 5-6 weeks lead time. - We had an issue with regard to how the fence fit with the retaining wall that we wanted resolved. The salesperson seemed to question the issue, rather than understanding the additional work we wanted done and why we were not satisfied. We subsequently did get a quote for additional work, but decided not to proceed with it. - The team did not ask how to deal with electrical wiring that went along the fence. And post-installation, they left a live electrical outlet hanging out onto the sidewalk - which was a safety hazard. Was not their job to address the electric, but still should have been handled more carefully. - Payment terms are favorable to the company. They took partial payment up front while I waited for 5-6 weeks, but then were very aggressive about immediate payment, seeming more concerned about getting paid day-of before even understanding if I considered the work done or was satisfied."
