"Juan was very prompt and courteous during all phases -- from initial introduction through installation & completion. His price to fabricate and install our new metal railings was very competitive. I am very satisfied with his work."

"On August 13th I contacted the Americana Iron Works & Fence company and I began an agreement for them to repair my front entrance railing. I gave them an earlier bad review, which was a wrong review on my part. In lieu of this pandemic it is not unexpected that a company cannot return phone calls or complete giving a date to schedule a project, it is hard sometimes because people can experience staff shortages or may be overwhelmed with the pandemic. Particularly when my project is only 30 days on the books. Also within this 30 day period I gave the company a little stress because they were not returning my calls and there was one occasion where I left an abusive message. The reason I know first review was my fault was because stepping back we are in an unusual situation as a nation. Finally the manager Mike called me and gave me a brief overview of the reasons of their delays which I understood. It was not necessary but he showed humility and concern for me as their customer. Within that conversation he expedited my project and said that he would have someone in that week. He called me on a Monday September 21st at noon, two days later he called me at 8 in the morning and said that he would have a crew between 9-10. Exactly at 9 Miguel arrives, prepared. Mike must have called me at least 5 times assuring me and overseeing what is going on from a distance but I do not know how many times he spoke to Miguel. My service order included sanding and painting the two rails that were repaired and it called for white paint but originally it was lost somehow that I wanted the rails to be painted black but because it was not written up properly I was subject to be charged extra for the color black. Mike said to me that he would call me back after speaking to his boss about what could be done. Good news was as a courtesy I would not be charged extra! Miguel was instructed to go buy the extra supplies and stay longer on the job site to paint the railings black. The reason I have changed my rating to excellent is because this company was not just concerned about the project or the materials but concerned about my happiness and they should have deserved excellent all along! They were already excellent, I just did not know it! One of the things Mike called to ask me was if I was happy and happy was an understatement.! He was not concerned about the final pay that day of the 23rd. I asked if I give his payment to the staff member but he said no he would like to meet me. How many managers do that? I met him today the 24th, he asked me with a mask on if I was happy, I told him I was and I was happy to meet him as well. This company is concerned about the human factor and that is why I am changing my rating because of their customer service and customer satisfaction. - Daniel N. in Berwyn"

"Dave's work was excellent and he was very dependable and professional. All 8 posts on the exterior wrought iron railings of our front stoop were badly rusted. Dave did a beautiful job of removing both railings from the steps, cutting out the rusted posts, welding in new posts, and re-cementing the fixed railings back into the concrete steps. The railings look perfect. The price was very reasonable."

"We hired Frank to fix a lot of stuff around our house including removing brick efflorescence, fixing gutter and a hole in the roof, staining our wooden stairs and metal stairs etc. Frank is highly communicative and gave us a good price for all the work around the house. He is responsive over texts and calls, and when he says he's going to arrive at a certain time, he will arrive at that time -- which is rare for many contractors out there, especially one that has to do so many tasks around the house. Frank is respectful and trustworthy, I recommend his services!"
