"We used Above & Beyond Construction to gut and remodel one full and one half bathroom in our 1960-built house. This was our first big home remodeling project and we couldn’t have been happier with the results. Chester and his crew were easy to work and communicate with, kept us updated with timing and progress, and identified additional issues that needed to be addressed (aka some really nasty old corroded cast iron pipes and cracked joists in our basement) to prevent future catastrophes. If we hadn’t fixed them we know we’d have ended up having to rip out the beautiful new bathroom within 6 months due to the failure of the old plumbing! They take pride in their work and take care to protect the rest of the house from dust and dirt, completely clean up the work site at the end of every day, and we had no problem trusting any of them in the house when we couldn’t be home. There were no budget surprises, either; the estimate was right on target. When we get up the nerve to tackle the gut rehab of our old kitchen we will look no further than Above & Beyond Construction!"

"Based on a positive experience in 2016 for an estimate on a kitchen renovation (I chose the contractor recommended by the designer at that time), I contacted Norpro for an estimate on a complete renovation (down to the studs) of the master bathroom. Again, I was very impressed. I knew immediately I would choose Norpro but felt obligated to get 2 other quotes. Mihai’s questions posed to the designer/Kelly (also highly recommend Orizzonti and their line Lacava) showed his experience and knowledge. Other contractors didn’t come close to giving me the confidence the project would be in good hands. I’ve had a number of negative experiences in previous remodels. I wanted the best this time and his quote was very fair. He and his team are professional, knowledgeable, timely, thorough and do great work. Mihai is very thoughtful and detailed. He plans and coordinates each step and visits the site on most days. He is responsive to calls, texts and emails. Based on my experience, this is a rarity. I was surprised that even during a well-deserved vacation mid-project, he was regularly in contact with his team and responded to a few of my (certainly non-urgent) texts. I cannot say enough how impressed I am with Norpro. I appreciated and trusted any input given by Mihai and his team. Anything unexpected (as occurs with renovations) was quickly addressed. I began to have some doubts about my choice of glass tiles but, now completed, the bathroom is beautiful. I joked I should renovate the rest of my place just to match it. In fact, I now plan to renovate the second bathroom in 1-2 years. There is no question I will have Norpro here for it."

"I can't say enough about these guys and wish I hadn't lost their contact information for a time. About 8 years ago, I had Sal and his guys do the finish work on my basement drywall that I hung. They also hung some drywall in the stairway going to the basement. Initially, they hung the soffit incorrectly but it was just a communication issue. I called Sal, he took a look and they came back and re-did it right away without hesitation. Their work has lasted this long without any problems. I started another remodeling project in my family room and needed a ceiling hung and finished, along with finishing some walls I had hung. Unfortunately, I had lost the contact information for Sal so I had to find another company. Long story short, this other company did an absolutely terrible job (Do not use NoticeTMA LLC for any drywall!). The family room adjoins the kitchen, and I had taken a wall down between them. I decided to carry the remodel over into the kitchen, and when it was time to hang the ceiling in the kitchen, I had found the old invoice from High Quality Painting and decided to see if they were still around. I am glad I did. Sal's son's came out to give me an estimate on my kitchen ceiling and also to repair the bad work in my family room. I decided to remove the new ceiling in the family room and have them do the whole thing. Their price was very competitive and everything turned out great. The old job didn't last 4 days without cracking. Luis' job has been up for a month now and there are no issues (and I am a very picky customer). I would highly recommend them for drywall hanging, finishing and repair."

He did such a wonderful job that I knew Frank was the perfect man to remodel my downstairs bathroom. Two weeks ago Frank and his crew completed the remodel of my bathroom in exactly 7 days.
