"EXCELLENT! The pipe clogged on a SUNDAY AFTERNOON, of course. Water was leaking into our basement! I started looking for someone with 24 hour service, and no one could come out. Then I got a call from IL Sewer and Drain. Joe said he could be out in about an hour, it was already after 4:30 pm. He came out, and was able to unclog our pipe! But upon inspection, the pipe needed to be replaced. He was able to schedule it for the next morning! The work took a few hours, but was all finished and cleaned up! I would not hesitate to hire them again or give them an outstanding reference."

"Above and Beyond is a great company to work with, they are efficient, personable and professional. They had to do some troubleshooting to figure out the most cost effective way to both remove a drain rod that broke off when I tried to do it myself. They got the rod out and dug in front of the house and coordinated with the city to show, with their cameras, that the roots from a large tree planted in the parkway was the root of the problem. The city removed the tree. Above and a beyond came back about 11/12 months later to rod out again. Still more roots. Theyâ ll be back next year to check and will be my plumbers forever! "When I arrived home on August 31st at around 10:30 pm. I noticed water leaking from my air conditioning unit and was damaging my hard wood floor already. I immediately texted Charlie and asked him if he was available to come fix it. He replied whiting minutes and told me that he could be at my house the next day around noon. He arrived at 12:30 the next day and started working on my air conditioner. He had to cut the drainage pipes because they were clogged and were causing the water to leak. "My sump pump float switch quit working overnight when it was raining and I woke up to a stinky, flooded crawlspace. Jan had me go down and take some photos to make sure he would send me an accurate quote for the work and parts, and after I sent the photos he gave me a call back and walked me through a few steps I could take to see if I could get the pump working and drain the water out before they came out for the repair, instead of just sending someone out and charging me for all the time that would take. Best of all, his advice worked and after draining the flood I was actually able to understand how the system worked and replace the switch myself. I did receive the quote for the work Vanguard would have done and it was clear, professional, and extremely fair (especially considering the location and condition of my sump pit). I felt that I was treated with a great deal of respect and courtesy, which was such a pleasant surprise it actually turned around how negatively I was feeling about the flood etc. I will 100% call them again for any work I need."
