"Jeff Goldman is to home patios as Pavarotti is to opera. He is an artist that is unique in this industry. In need of a new deck, I called three different contractors. One never returned my call. One came out and showed me what I considered to be inferior materials for the project. The last contractor to come out was Jeff. Not only was he on time, but he came prepared. Samples of nearly component that go into a patio cover. Prices. Ideas: originally, we were going to just replace the deck. But Jeff suggested another way to go, that would in effect increase the utility of the downstairs patio. Great idea. And great execution, now that it is built. Jeff?s crew is polite, and they leave a clean worksite at the end of the day. Jeff is involved in every stage of the process, and we had a final ?walk-through inspection? prior to final payment. Jeff knows this business thoroughly (it is a family business), and it is clear that he enjoys what he does. He has a showroom in Tustin that is worth going to for ideas. "I found Jose and MB Paving on Yelp first and then checked them out on Angie's List. After meeting with and getting quotes from 2 other companies to pour a concrete patio with steps, I decided to get one final quote from MB Paving and that was the best thing I could have done. Every step of the process went seamlessly. Jose was very knowledgable, patient and detail oriented. On the day of the job, Jose and his crew showed up promptly and Jose made a point to go through details of the job that could be unclear, to make sure there would be no surprises. During this time we actually ran into one obstacle (which was our fault).
