The challenge came from the adjacent conservation area and town. There were other patios that had been built in this complex without approval from the conservation officer. He was patient and willing to work with the conservation group as they adjusted the requirements a few times. "We hired Dimitri to repair our front steps, which are brick. We previously had them repaired through our property management company and it was a botched job that fell apart in less than 2 years. Dimitri was quick in responding to our request for a quote, thoroughly answered all of our questions about what needed to be done, and made room in his packed schedule to complete the job in short order. On the day of the repair, his team showed up on time, worked efficiently, and they were very respectful of the property. The repair itself seems to be solid and we'd definitely hire Dimitri again for masonry work on the property! Of note, we did have a minor miscommunication regarding when payment was due (partially our fault because we should have asked for clarification when we hired him). We set a date for the project, but were continually met with rain, which was obviously out anyone's control. In either case, Claudio was always in touch about when the project was going to begin. When the rain finally stopped one week later, they came promptly to start the project. Not only did they finish ahead of schedule, they were able to accommodate a last minute change. They worked efficiently, kept the property extremely clean, and went above and beyond to make sure the new work blended in with the other, older masonry.
