"Presidential Exteriors had door-to-door solicitors offering to schedule free estimates. I scheduled one. During the estimate evaluation, after surveying the exterior, the consultant (salesman) and I went into the attic, performed a cursory tour around the access area of the attic ladder, and found leaks and structural concerns (e.g. cracked trusses and water-damaged rafters). The consultant used the leak and structural concerns, in addition to the general estimated age of the roof, to push hard for the case replace the entire roof, with the promise and expectation that the roof installers would inspect the rest of the attic for any other potential structural issues we did not tour during the estimate evaluation. I accepted them for the job since I considered the issues serious enough to wrap up sooner than later. For the evaluation experience, think car dealership sales tactics but at the premises of your own home, e.g a call the manager to lower the price, same-day commitment discounts, etc. Their operation team called to schedule the job a week later. The roof installers came by two weeks after the evaluation, and 'finished' the job in two days. The work on the exterior roof itself looked good. However, even though I inquired multiple times about making sure they would inspect the internal structure while installing the new roof and was constantly assured they would, when I inspected the attic as the work crew was wrapping up on the second day, I found that even a number of internal structural issues that the consultant specifically pointed out were not addressed at all (the water-damaged areas were handled, however). In fact, during the install, they were more concerned about more trivial matters from my perspective, like removing cupolas and unused satellite dishes. Understandably, I was upset, and I called with this complaint. They sent the project manager out two days later and we went up to the attic and inspected the entire attic fully this time (I did an inspection of my own before the meeting). I asked if they had a structural engineer certify their repairs; they replied they do not, but adhered to best practices. They scheduled a crew to come out the next day. The second crew came, and I instructed them as to the work needed; they had a general sense of the job, but unfortunately not the specifics. They initially sistered one side of trusses that were cracked or weak/compromised; I requested that they sister both sides (I actually even discussed this with the project manager when he came earlier), and the crew obliged. I signed paperwork accepting the completion after verifying the work. Overall, the work done addressing the structural issues felt impromptu, though perhaps ultimately sufficient. Clearly, Presidential Exteriors has some communication issues across their operation. Make sure you know exactly what you want, and be ready to reiterate multiple times. They were interested in selling a roof and primarily only a roof, but used other related issues they have less experience with to sell the product - and initially did not even address those issues. I would have been much happier if they had referred/contracted a structural engineer to first handle/design the interior structure repair and then take on the roofing install and/or structure repair themselves. With regard to the workmanship of simply the new exterior roof itself, I have no complaints. However, they oversold their services in the end, which left a unpleasant aftertaste, despite me being ultimately satisfied that they performed the work agreed upon to the best of their ability."

"Had our roof replaced, looks like a clean install. Trey was easy to talk to and was very assuring. We'll see how the roof holds up against this weekend's snowstorm or whatever's coming our way. Yes I copy pasted my own review from Google Reviews."

"Very good service from office staff through completion of job which included removal of existing flat roof, replacement of rotted boards, installation of new roof and replacement of gutter. Completed 5/2018"

"John Krause Construction recently replaced my roof. I am very pleased with the quality of the work and the price we paid. Their crew was professional and courteous, and a pleasure to work with. They took extra care to clean up my entire yard and ensure I was happy with the job. I would highly recommend this company for any and all home improvement projects."

"The entire process went very well. The team at JDH is excellent, from their sales guys, to on site managers, to individual workers. All are professional and courteous and take their time to do it right. We've had a few scheduling hic-ups throughout the process, but overall they've been excellent from start to finish. Most importantly, my new roof and skylights look top notch, and will last a lifetime!"

"I couldn't have been more pleased with Charm City Roofing. Home repairs, especially roof repairs were something I dreaded to think about. My experience with Charm City Roofing changed all of that. Starting with my point of contact Mac who did a WONDERFUL job explaining the process and providing a comprehensive step by step of how the installation of my replacement roof would be completed. My home currently has solar panels which needed to be removed before the installation of the new roof could begin, due to the slow response from the solar company this took over 4 months! Dispite this headache, while waiting for the removal the Charm City Roofing Team checked in with me periodically, maintained my tentative install date and continually assured me they would get the job done. The roof was completed as promised and I couldn't be more happy, the installers showed up on time! roof was completed in one business day! (Again as promised) Yard was cleaned up Completely of every material."

"Thunder Bay Roofing is magnificent!! My father needed work done on his house that multiple other contractors declined due to difficulty, but Thunder Bay handled it to perfection! The owners Nick and Steve are incredible people and personally take care of every customer and their home. I highly recommend Thunder Bay Roofing company."

"Robert and Casey are absolutely incredible. As a first time homeowner, when my roof started leaking in early spring I was completely lost. Casey was highly capable in assisting me in making my insurance claim while Robert was skilled, knowledgeable and diligent enough to not only note, but physically mark, and make himself available to identify the indicators of storm damage to my insurance adjuster at the time of his visit. In the end, through no knowledge or understanding of my own, my $1,000.00 roof repair over my daughters bathroom turned into an entire, beautiful, brand new roof for our home. Robert and his team are not only knowledgeable, skilled, and communicative- but clearly place high pride in their work, treating our home as if it were their own, or that of one they love- as well as highly personable, consulting and advising on additional concerns I had on unrelated aspects (i.e. landscaping) as they worked and even recommending and reaching out to other contractors/companies to address those concerns. Storm Ready Exteriors has made lifetime customers in me and my family. Furthermore, as locals, their team is welcome in our home anytime- be it for dinner, a holiday get together, or a drink. Since buying, I’ve already had a few nightmares in the realm of updating, up keeping, and making this house into a home for our family. I am beyond thankful for Storm Ready and would recommend them to anyone I know!"

"This was the second time we hired ROI Construction LLC to work on our home and they did an excellent job both times. Originally our roof was replaced and ROI did a fantastic job, going above and beyond in making sure every detail was perfect. Recently we had the roof and skylights of an addition replaced. In both instances ROI charged less than the competitors and the workmanship was high grade. I highly recommend this company."

"***The work completed was a storm door replacement*** Jamie was awesome and for the job, his rates are very reasonable. I made contact with him from a recommendation on nextdoor. It was a very short timeframe from when I made the initial contact with him to yesterday when he was able to get the job done. If anyone in Anne Arundel county or the nearby surrounding areas and need something done around the house (other than HVAC or wiring), give Jamie a call. Thanks again, Jamie."
