They were able to cut and remove both trees, clean the area to perfection and not dig up my lawn with tire tracks or equipment. Pricing was fair and reasonable. "I have used Freestate Tree Service before, as they always do a great job. This experience was not different. I had to have a dying Tree of Heaven (Ailanthus altissima) removed, approximately 30 feet tall. They promptly responded to my initial e-mail to have them come out and check to see if the tree was able to be saved (it wasn't, which was no surprise) and e-mailed an estimate the next day. The other two companies (one wasn't able to get someone out to look at the tree until 2 weeks from my e-mail) and the one that did stop by gave an over-the-phone quote that was significantly higher. The Freestate guys showed up bright and early to start cutting away at the tree. They always seem to do quite a lot of work in a rather short amount of time. By the afternoon the tree was gone and they were cleaning up."

I thought the price was very reasonable considering I compared it to the price from another company. I was happy with the work. I'm still waiting till they actually removed the stump, ground it down. We ended up calling a couple of folks to come out for estimates. Some of the other companies wouldn’t even touch the tree because it was on a steep hill. These guys were very, very reasonable and did fantastic work. The man who climbed the tree is exceptionally skilled. This tree was pretty close to the house and I was worried that one of the large branches would come in contact on the way down. Everything went very smooth between the removal and clean up. I could not be more impressed with a company. I will absolutely be calling them for any additional trees we want removed. They have earned my future business.
