"Richard and his team did a great job for us at a fair price. He stayed in touch via telephone and text with updates on scheduling and did what he said he would do, when he said he would do it. He made several repairs to our sprinkler system and even reset some broken and loose pavers. We will hire them again when we need additional landscaping."

"We have considerably mixed feelings about this. <br /> Bobby was punctual, informative and blew us away with the book of references he gave us. He clearly has a passion and believes in his work. We had several providers come to give us estimates and he was the only one that we were tempted to call back immediately and sign up with. He also gave us the best pricing for Wet Edge, although not the best pricing for a plaster or quartz finish.  <br /> There were, however, two red flags when talking to him. <br /> First - he was trying to figure out where he could dig a 4'x4' trench to bury the waste leftover from cleaning the pool after applying the new finish - cement, stones, etc. This troubled us on several levels as we are gardeners, no one else mentioned doing this, that's a large hole and it didn't sound environmentally friendly. We couldn't help but wonder if costs were being cut where they shouldn't be.  <br /> Second - He said that he didn't offer warranties as they meant nothing in this business and he'd never had to go back to a job. The first thing we'd been told when researching this was that a person should always get a warranty on the work. The reason we were interested in Wet Edge is that they advertise that only certified applicators can apply the product and that it has a lifetime warranty. When I went back and checked the Wet Edge site for local applicators his business wasn't listed there. I double checked our estimate and it had Wet Edge product written on it. So I called Wet Edge, thinking perhaps he just wasn't on their site yet. They told me that they had never heard of his service or him and that he definitely wasn't one of their certified applicators.  <br /> We had liked him enough that we decided to email him about our concerns, hoping to give him an opportunity to "save face", but never heard back. In fairness, we contacted some of his references and they had been very pleased with his work. To us, the warranty was a very important aspect, however. <br />"

"They came to my home within an hour of making the call, and replaced the control box and got my system back up and running, he tested the pressure tank and told me it was only operating at about 50% efficiency, then suggested I replace it, was hesitant to do so cause I felt it was pretty pricey ( after researching the cost of the tank after the fact I found he gave me a very fair price on it).  Im glad that I did cause it significantly increased the water pressure I was seeing in my home.  Did a great Job.  I don't recall the exact date but I believe this was over a weekend as well. <br />"

"Best landscaper in St. Pete! I've worked with several landscapers in Pinellas County including Flordiginous, Landscape by Design, Tommy Todd and others. I mean no disrespect to them, but sometimes you learn this stuff through trial and error. Jim Knobel of 2nd Nature will provide the "real deal" in terms of professional expertise, honesty, valued advice and save you money to boot. I'm not a troll or "hired hand." I'm just a happy customer. Best wishes."

"Garett came out the same day, found a clog, and removed it! He brought an extra worker in case the fountain needed to be lifted. He also provided helpful advice on keeping the fountain clean and performing well. I couldn't be happier with his services!"

FAQs for water feature fountain or waterfall installation projects in Clearwater, FL

Installing a drinking fountain costs between $500 and $1,000 for indoor models and an average of $3,000 for outdoor units, including installation. The cost depends on the design, materials, and professional labor involved, with service rates ranging from $45 to $200 per hour. Investing in a drinking fountain can enhance your space's functionality and aesthetic appeal.

A water fountain increases home resale value by elevating curb appeal and enhancing overall property aesthetics. A well-cared-for fountain that matches the home’s design and functions flawlessly boosts buyer confidence and market desirability. Routine maintenance and professional installation ensure proper performance, ensuring that your fountain benefits both daily enjoyment and long-term resale value.

Maintaining a fountain costs $25 to $50 per month for basic upkeep and $50 to $150 for professional deep cleaning or servicing. A fountain of any size requires routine draining, thorough cleaning of the pump, tubing, and surface, plus regular inspections for wear, algae, or mineral deposits. Annual maintenance and sealing further extend its lifespan and enhance its appearance.

How much power your water fountain uses depends on the pump’s size and operating schedule. Smaller fountains use less than 10 watts per day, while larger cascade pumps can require up to 1,000 watts. This translates to an average increase of around $25 per month on your electric bill.

Water fountain installation takes anywhere from a few hours to several days. The installation timeline depends on the fountain’s design, site preparation requirements, and the involvement of professional plumbing and electrical services. Prefabricated water features are set up in a few hours, while custom designs require additional structural and aesthetic modifications and take much longer.
