"It went well! Rick the owner, came out to look at our roof and give us a bid. We also had two or three other companies to also give us a bid. Rick was the only one who really understood how to do the job properly which included changing and adding new soffit vents which would improve the airflow in the attic. His crew has been with him many years so they knew what they were doing. And, Rick was on site at least once a day. He was always available when I had a concern or question. Our roof looks great, his crew did a great job, and I like the idea that this is a small company where he is in charge and only has one crew going at a time."

"Agent came out, surveyed the roof, and measured what it would take to replace. Showed current styles available and provided a price after my selection.  Agreed upon a date.  The crew came at 7:30 AM and finished about 8:05 PM  Agent said he'd do it in 1 day and he did.  Neighbor couldn't believe they did it all in 1 day, whereas most new roofs take 3 to 4 days.  Clean-up was very good and delivered on what they said they would do. <br />"

"AAA+++ Just Fabulous! I met Pro Tech Senior Project Manager Nathan Knopp at my home after a terrible hail and wind storm struck my community on Lake Pulaski in Buffalo, MN this summer. As a result, we were able to get our roof repair expedited which suited us perfectly. Pro Tech is a Platinum Partner with Owens Corning which means we were able to do a wholesale level upgrade on our shingles to TrueDefinition Duration Designer Level shingles and we decided on the Merlot pattern/color. Our materials and crew showed up as promised and the work was done fast and efficient and passed inspection with the City of Buffalo easily. With Nathan Knopp's guidance and support, we were also able to upgrade our gutter guard to a style/manufacturer that is better suited/engineered to our steep roof pitch for our designer lake home. I have to say that working with Nathan Knopp and Pro Tech was easy and very informative and my wife and I feel that we came away from this experience with not only an upgraded roof and gutters, but with a lot more understanding of how the roof and gutter system in our home works to protect our home from the elements. "I was very pleased!   Very professional.  I felt comfortable with the owner .  I know my job was the largest - but he said he would help.   The Black Bear employee arrived on time on the appointed day - and went to work.   I had to head to work and when I arrived home the project had been completed.  Everything was clean, and in order.  The doors closed - and the basement window had been re-set and caulked - and looked great!  Owner Stuart Cleaveland contacted me the next day and asked if he could come and check out the work.  I was impressed. He also brought along a new door stop and installed it for me.   And I so appreciated Black Bear's honesty.  When I received the invoice for the work -it was for a less amount than the bid.  Stuart explained it was because the project didn't take as long as he had anticipated.   Needless to say - I don't think that happens very often. <br /> I know Black Bear specializes in larger projects - so I really appreciated their willingness to do my project.  And it was so well done. <br /> I would hire them again! <br />"
