"Ed is a wonderful person and I believe he means well but was not able to execute in an efficient or timely matter. We decided after finishing the small 75-80 sq ft bathroom that it was not cost effective or an efficient use of time to continue with Ed. It was a mutual decision. The space he completed does look good but we had to clean up the tiles after the grout dried and we have dried thinset on the laminate and carpet between the bathroom and the garage that we are carefully chipping away at to remove without damaging. "Rafael and his team recently painted the exterior of my 5 year old home and the house looks great. The entire crew was very professional, punctual, detailed, and easy to work with. The process was smooth and worry-free. He made sure to complete my requests like filling in the cracks and painting to the foundation (something the builder didn’t do in certain areas). I’m extremely happy with the results and recommend Rafael and his team."

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Clermont, FL

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
