"Door and frame both needed aligning in which a cold draft was evident, thought I may need a new door and frame. Gary promptly returned my call, willing to come out on Sunday, and was on time. Assessed the situation over the phone and online, reaffirmed on site, and promptly went to about his repair, allowed me to inspect, and cleaned up the work area. SUPERB JOB!! Highly recommend G and G to anyone who requires quality craftsmanship on just about any property needs. He does it all, from rough carpentry, painting, flooring and carpentry. We will be hiring Gary for our next home project."

"Alec and his team are reliable, dependable, professional and prompt with responses. He worked with my HOA and he responded quickly to our request and did an excellent job repairing and stabilizing and bracing several homes with loose wrought iron entry railings. I used him for a non HOA job involving a tree damaged wrought iron railing, The same quality service was delivered! I highly recommend this business for needs related to wrought iron railing work."

"I am the former President of our gated townhome community.. A vehicle ran into our heavy steel gate and bent it. It was not operating correctly because of being unbalanced and not shutting securely. These two young men were reliable and dependable and repaired our gate on the premise. The price was fair and we would definitely call on them again if needed. Experienced welders for sure!!!"

FAQs for wrought iron fence repair or weld projects in Clermont, GA

Wrought iron fence installation costs $1,200 to $4,200 on average. Your final cost depends on several factors, including the length and height of the fence, the intracity of the ornamental design, and the quality of the materials used. Iron fences cost $7,000 or more to install on the high end. Wrought iron fences are more expensive than fences made using other materials.

Wrought iron railings cost an average of $2,600, including labor and materials. Hiring a professional to install iron railings is crucial to ensure accuracy and safety. The price depends on the type of metal used, installation location, aesthetic elements, and whether you’re installing it indoors or outdoors. Materials include plain black iron, galvanized iron, and ornamental iron.

You should never paint over rusted wrought iron fencing. All this does is mask the underlying issue, as rust can slowly deteriorate the integrity of your iron fence, diminishing its durability and stability. Painting over a rusted fence also causes poor paint adhesion, which can lead to flaking. Be sure to remove rust and smooth the surface before painting.
