"As stated by Morris A. My bill was also misleading. .They also lied about mailing the billing.to me. The f1rst bill was a blank piece of paper with 2 bill amounts on it with no explanation.. When the first repairman came to fix the AC that stopped working, he spent about 15 minutes at my house and put some fluid in the AC unit but the AC stopped working again the next day..The worker stated that his trip should be covered by warranty since they installed the AC. Donner charged us $974.01 for that first trip. I have noticed they have made a big effort to covered up the bad work and billing they have done in the past for a lot of people. Be careful of this company and check around."

"I had American Leak Detection do a helium test in January 2019 through my Rental House Management Company for a gas leak. When the plumbers came to fix the leak, they said the test was useless and then determined the correct cause of the leak along with fixing it. After this happened, one of the American Leak employees informed a manager of the "non-performance" so that this bill could be waived, but the manager not only insisted this bill be paid, but was going to impose late fees if it was not paid shortly after the conversation. I will never (nor does my management company plan to) use American Leak again - non-performance along with being expensive."

FAQs for concrete patios, walks & steps installation projects in Clovis, NM

Most sidewalks rely on a ready‑mix blend of Portland cement, sand, gravel, and water that trucks deliver to your site and pour in one continuous lift. For added strength, many contractors fold in fiber mesh or steel reinforcement. This mix cures into a rock‑solid slab that stands up to foot traffic, freeze‑thaw cycles, and daily wear for decades. Expect a pro to recommend a 4‑inch‑thick pour for standard walkways.

With the right mix, proper drainage, and routine upkeep, a concrete sidewalk can last 25 to 50 years. Freeze‑thaw cycles, road salt, and heavy loads all shorten that timeline, but sealing every few years and patching small cracks early keeps damage in check. Think of sealing as inexpensive insurance for decades of safe, stable footing. In milder climates, some slabs push well past the 30‑year mark without major repairs.

Concrete sidewalks crack as a result of significant temperature fluctuations and heavy load pressures. The freeze-thaw cycles and sustained weight from vehicles or intense foot traffic force the concrete to develop cracks over time. Applying a premium sealant every two to three years and substituting salt with sand for de-icing minimizes crack formation. Regular maintenance and timely repairs safeguard the sidewalk’s structural integrity and extend its service life.
