"Taz is our go-to contractor, because they are problem-solvers, detail-oriented, and just generally do a terrific job on both large and small projects. At our house (at different times) Taz has done structural work for us; fully renovated our kitchen; installed a pocket door on a tiny 1/2 bathroom; fixed the walls and floor in a formerly useless closet; and, tore out a huge mess of a mechanical room, turning it into useful, attractive storage space. They deliver on time (including amazingly short timeframes) and on budget (as much as any contractor can be, given the fluctuation in material costs over the past few years). They do a terrific job of minimizing mess and displacement for the homeowner and pets. Would never use anyone else but Anthony and his talented crew. He may sometimes cost more than other contractors, but you get what you pay for - you may find cheaper, but you will NOT find better. And when Anthony does the work, he stands behind it, while others don't."

"Excellent. John and Aubrey provided professional, timely, and fair estimate for this project. Cesar and crew did an exceptional job removing ivy which had been attached to the home for years! They repaired the damage done by the vine, and painted! Additionally, they repaired a damaged stucco wall and painted it as part of project. The home looks good as New!Honestly, this is one of the finest businesses in Albuquerque. They do exactly what they say they’ll do, on time, with quality products, and in a professional - friendly manner. Cutting edge is my only choice for our painting needs ... this is the 4th or 5th job John and team have done for us ... perfect every time."

"I called Narrow Leaf because of the good reviews I found for the company here on Angie's List.  I was soon able to speak with the owner, Tom, and schedule an appointment.  He was early to the appointment and very professional and personable from the beginning.  Between the time I spoke with him initially to describe what I wanted to have done and the appointment, my thoughts had changed.  That was no problem for him.  Tom has obviously had a lot of experience in the field and was able to answer my questions well and offer appropriate suggestions.  He was quick and efficient, but I did not feel rushed.  He provided a detailed and thorough estimate within two days, breaking down and pricing each category of work.  We had several good estimates for the work, and it was a hard decision.  Although we choose not to go with Narrow Leaf, I am confident that, had we made that decision to go with them, the job would have been very well done. <br />"

FAQs for handyman service projects in Cochiti Lake, NM

Winterizing shields your home’s structure and key systems from snow, ice, and freezing temperatures. By sealing drafts and tuning up heaters, you cut energy waste, extend the life of appliances and windows, and avoid surprise repair bills. A small up-front investment keeps rooms cozy and protects the value of your biggest asset all winter long.

Yes, it’s important to prepare your sprinkler system for the winter. Blowing out the lines and insulating above-ground parts keeps valves and pipes from splitting when temperatures drop. A quick winterization visit costs far less than repairing burst components in spring, and it ensures your lawn--and your wallet--stay in good shape once the thaw hits.

A full home winterization plan goes beyond sealing windows and pipes. You might schedule a home energy audit, cover outdoor furniture, service the snowblower, swap smoke-detector batteries, add outlet gaskets, and hang storm doors. Each step beefs up your home’s protection, cuts drafts, and lowers the chance of costly cold-weather damage.
