They were both on the job every day for three days, taking care to cover the kitchen/great room floor, since they had to go through the house to get to the deck when bringing in the lumber. They noticed a need for some additional support bracing while working, and were able to handle that as well. They cleaned up every day and after the job was done. They even left a broom behind, though I don't think they meant to. (You can come and get it anytime, guys!) <br />"

"The Cobex team provided amazing exterior paintwork and repairs to the imperfect-smooth exterior finish of our two-story home in El Dorado Hills. We used the Cool Wall products, and we're looking forward to a reduction in heat and improved insulation qualities. The preparation work, the COBEX team, provided was meticulous to get everything that was loose off of the 18-year original finish. The crew expertly masked off the gutters, fascia, windows, surrounding exposed patio, stonework and covered the plantings and exposed concrete with drop cloths. The team expertly patched the imperfect-smooth stucco, primed, sealed the windows and door frames and applied a final finish over a period of 8 days. The Cobex crew were neat, protected all of the plantings around the house and did a great clean up at the end. I watched their progress every day, and I was impressed with their work ethic and progress. They were focused, conscientious and provided a great finished product. Our home looks amazing. "when i saw the slip connection i questioned the effectiveness of the part because it seemed loose but was assured it would work .i glued the parts as called for but before i could even turn the pressure on found a leak in the adjustable connector.when i went back to the store i examined another connector and it seemed to be a lot tighter i questioned the person at the counter and he said no problem just bring the affected parts back for credit even though they were no longer useable since they had been glued .the new parts worked as promised the refund issued and i am a happy camper thank you hills flat people <br />"

"A is not a high enough rating for this company!! If we could have hired them to do all the house work that was needed, it would have gone a lot smoother for us:) We took on a house that was a short sale mess in bad need of repair and restoration to make it livable again. ALL 5 decks were dryrotted and had to be torn out and rebuilt. Working with Harvey and Fred was a delight on every step. We redesigned the 2 story decks which had wonderful views we wanted to capitalized on. They helped us with the access deisgn, getting a spiral staircase put in so we could access the bottom deck from the back yard. They understood what we were trying to do to not block any windows with staircases and spent lots of time with us brainstorming and figuring out what would work. They worked with our budget and didn't try to push us to go higher but respected the money we wanted to spend on this project as we had a lot of projects to do on this house. We had to do the repairs through a 203K loan and they were okay with the wierd way the payouts go, mostly meaning delayed payments to them. Jamie was the forman on the job and was there every day and he and his crew worked hard. I was home all day studying, and would hear them conversing, laughing and working hard but never cusing, which was great. I treated them with deserts and they were very kind to do a neat finishing touch on one of the bottom decks (that wasn't in the plans) as a thank you for the deserts. The project kept moving along and they did the work for what they estimated it for, no add ons in the middle of the project, or surprise fees. They listened and helped us do what we wanted. They didn't try to talk us out of a deck with the view of the water like another contractor did but they worked with us on what we wanted to do. They were such a pleasure to work with from start to finish, I didn't want them to leave, not the same thinking with the other contractor:) Cannot recommend them high enough and they will be the only company we call if we want to build any more decks. We used Trex and did 2 different colors and love the finishing touch. Fred recommended a board on top of the railing and we love that and use it all the time to lean on and enjoy the view. Thank you guys for being a integritous company to work with and doing such a great job. Thank you to all the people who worked on our decks and gave us such an amazing result!!"
