"I was having a difficult time locating a handyman in my area.  I finally researched Angie’s List and contacted Andrew Strugar (dba Handyman Pete) in Squaw Lake.  We are selling our house and we needed some general contracting assistance.  We needed to have a living room window exterior molding replaced and leak fixed; we needed our exterior railings reinstalled on our concrete stoop; we needed an exterior pre-hung steel door installed in the garage. <br /> He came up one day to survey the jobs and discuss terms.  He is honest, up-front, and very personable.  He discussed what he was going to do and how he would do it.  He provided the estimate and agreed on work dates. <br /> He arrived ready to work and in one day finished the window molding and stair rail re-installation.  The work was EXCELLENT. "Ever since we moved into our newly built home 8 or so years ago, we needed help with the original installation of sod, the fence for our dogs, the automated sprinkler system, etc. Accelerated Green Works (AGW) has always been the team we’ve trusted for all of this work. Usually, I do my own snow shoveling, but, periodically when I’m out of town, a blizzard pops up and my wife needs to teach elementary school in the morning. The latest episode of snow storms this past week occurred while I was out of town. I arranged with AGW to plow / shovel early in the morning for my wife to get out, but school was promptly cancelled. Therefore, I scheduled AGW to shovel later that night once the snow / wind stopped and my wife would need to get out to drive me home from the airport. The AGW team worked with me every step of the way to get the job done right. I’m sure they can’t always schedule these jobs as perfectly as they did for me that day/night, but they definitely did a fantastic job coordinating with me and accommodating my every need. Excellent work. The scheduling was perfect. The plowing / shoveling of my driveway and sidewalks was professionally done with good communication with me to ensure we were both on the same page. "I had home services done by Handy Guy Services.  They were here in the last  part of November of first part of December.  I think I paid him for the complete work, I think I paid him twenty seven hundred dollars.  The scheduling was good.  I think I waited about a week and a half.  They were very personable.  I liked them all.  They were very knowledgeable and helpful.  I was satisfied. I didn't have any problems.  They did a good job.  It wasn't exactly perfect, it wasn't over the top.  I would tell others I recommend them just keep an eye on them like you would anybody else. "

"Shawn was by far the most knowledgeable and helpful person in our remodel project that had an overall project cost of approximately $120,000 for tile, cabinets, furniture, painting, labor, appliances, etc.  Shawn was very fair with us on pricing and he provided the same exact products at a lower price than his competitors.  Shawn followed up with us to see how our project was going and to see if there was anything he could help with.  A very personable and highly effective employee who reflects credit on Accent Construction.  Of all the folks we dealt with, he was the absolute best.  We highly recommend him!!  My only regret is that we met him late in our project and after we had awarded the bids on new cabinets, granite tops and other aspects of our project.  Next time, we will get Accent Contracting to do the entire project. <br>"
