When I told him that I felt that would not suit the home, he assured me it was the way to go. When I insisted that I did not like that idea at all, he again told me that it was the best idea. Perhaps Mr. Rhodes was right, but I'm thinking that my craftsman style home tucked into a wooded area and a xeriscaping, primarily rock garden are not a good match.
