"Excellent! We used Clayton at MRZ Contracting to completely redo our front and back yard. I had been wanting to do something for 10 years and finally made it happen! He got his cool 3D design to me and worked with me on final design. His staff was great, kept the area clean each night and created the yard I now love. Included taking down a large tree, installing new front walkway, new stone edging and adding to the backyard patio. We wanted an easy to maintain yard so we have rocks versus grass to cut. Love the recommendations in plants. Realize that due to covid and the Feb 2021 freeze, things happened slower than expected but wow! Love the results! I highly recommend Clayton and MRZ to all of you who need a beautiful redesign of your landscaping."

"I have to say that I cannot say enough good things about Scott and John. John came out in the dark and scaled a 25 foot tree to get our 6 month old kitten out of a tree. It was a weekend. John and his family came to save the day. One more night our kitten wouldn't have survived. Don't hesitate to use Tree Shepherds. Very responsive. Supe fast. Uses all types of communication. There is a reason why they have 5 Stars!r"

"So, these guys from TreeTop Tree Service show up at 8:30am to do a job that I got a bid on about 1.5 weeks before. They were very busy and were going to contact me to let me know when I would be on their schedule. (A very necessary thing because I have a vehicle in my driveway that doesn't run, and I would need to get some muscle there beforehand to move the car. in fact, one of the tree's dead limbs had fallen on my husband's car and on my son's car and was the catalyst for me finally hiring someone to come fix the tree problem) Well, for some reason I was never notified on when I would be on the schedule (oversights happen) so I was not prepared for them when they arrived. They COULD HAVE said that I would need to reschedule, INSTEAD, these guys MOVED THE CAR! Then they proceeded to do the job I had gotten the bid for. These guys dug in their heels and busted their butts getting this job done. (side note: My husband recently passed from a 22 year, long and hard terminal illness. I neither had the time or energy to do yard maintenance myself, and I surely didn't have the money. My yard was a mess, and I now know how much my neighbors really were embarrassed by it) TreeTop changed the appearance of my yard so much that my neighbor came by to tell me: 1. how good it looked 2. that they had previously used my yard as a "marker" when they were on their way to THEIR house. "Get to my mess and go 2 doors down." They laughed as they told me they bypassed their own home because my messy yard wasn't messy anymore. My trees are trimmed, my cars and visitors' cars are safe, and my yard looks amazing! And these guys also moved my husband's car back into the driveway. They cleaned up every bit of mess that happened while they worked and my home looks like a HOME for the first time since my husband got sick. The crew of 5 worked for about 2 hours and was worth every penny and more. I got multiple estimates for this job and TreeTop was the best estimate. After seeing their quality of work, their attention to details, and their over-the-top personalized service, I am convinced that if I had chosen any other company, I would have been just another client. With these guys from TreeTop, I was a person and they saw ME and took care of me like the companies from days long past... Like I mattered. I HIGHLY recommend TreeTop Tree Services!"

"Had front porch and walkway stoned. Started cracking almost immediately. Material between stones fell apart quickly and you can feel some rock moving under your feet. They kept saying they would come fix but never did. We had used Chiba’s for a back patio which was excellent work, which is why we asked them to do this additional work. Never again…..does not stand behind their work"

"Said they would arrive between 1 and 3 P.M. Arrived at 3:25 PM. While working, my wife and I asked them about doing some more trimming on a couple of the trees and were told that was not on the estimated price given and/or that is not what was called out on the sheet. Also, doing what we asked them to do would make the tree not look right and if they took more off where we wanted, it would cause them to have to go all around the tree again to reshape it. Also, asked them to remove one limb from Maple tree in the back and was told it was not on the sheet. However, I said I would pay for it. Took less than 4 minutes to cut it and haul it off to the truck out front - charged additional $100. They still left a dead limb on the tree. Also, did not do well at trimming the dead from the Mulberry tree. At one point one worker asked another what was meant on the Job/worksheet and the other said he did not know what it meant. Was completed and they left at 4:25 P.M. ( a total of one hour on site). I called Monday to get the price owed and the office could not provide it because the work sheet had not been turned in. I asked what J Davis normally charged by the hour and was told $395 an hour. Finally called me Tuesday afternoon (today) and said they had the price. I called back and was given a price of $795 for the work (they added $100 to the estimate was for the one extra limb I asked them to cut off). Then, there a 5% disposal fee added to the $795 and then the sales tax was added to that, coming to a total of $903.62. When I asked about the hourly rate of $395, I was told they could not answer that because if the hourly rate was charged, they may not have sent out as many people or it may have taken longer; etc., etc. (Really?) Takeaway from this is that I should have asked the person giving me the original estimate what he figured/estimated timewise it would take to complete the work. Then if it was estimated at say two hours but only took one hour, the final price should be revised downward. Also, if the workers did not know exactly what was meant on the sheet they used, either they are not well trained or perhaps the person giving the estimate should be with them while they are doing the job so he can answer any questions. Finally, I think that the homeowner should be satisfied with the work and if he/she is not, they should do what the homeowner wants (rather than saying they cannot do this or that). I paid the requested amount, but I do not believe I will use this service again."

"We ordered a cord of wood from Fort Worth's Yard Man. Maribel was very helpful in providing the pricing and setting a delivery date, even when we had to change it. The wood was delivered and stacked neatly in our shed, and they took care not to drive over our sprinkler heads with the loader. The wood is top quality and has provided us with several nicely burning fires this season. We'll definitely be ordering more from them in the future."

"Slater Lawn has always been great about coming out any time we needed work done on our sprinkler system. We had one issue where the wires were pulled up out of a valve box and apparently not put back right. They were able to fix the issue quickly. Recently, a concrete company poured a slab and destroyed the pvc piping where they poured causing my system to leak under the slab. It has been a nightmare to deal with but Slater's guys have been great. They scheduled the appointment time, showed up when they were scheduled, did the work.. then came back when we realized there was a second leak. They work hard, fast and they get it done professionally and are always ALWAYS courteous. Its sad that they have to come fix what someone else broke."

"This is an update to a previous review. After being a customer for a few years and watching Grass King's service and reliability continue to decline, while prices went up, I finally had enough and recently canceled my service with them. They started out fine, then stopped showing up on a reliable basis, broke numerous items on my property, destroyed more turf than I want to think about by grinding the grass down to stubs with the weed-eater and constantly mowed the yard at such a high level that they barely took any growth off it even though I called/emailed them numerous times about these problems."

"This was a big project and the crew (Rafael and David) went above and beyond to ensure that all work was professionally done and pleasing. They arrived early and worked long days to finish the project. I couldn't have had a more professional and polite crew than those two. When the project was finished, they did a really good cleanup job. The project manager, Justin was also polite and pleasant to work with, as was Randall Lawrence. I would definitely use them again and would recommend them to friends and family."
