Customers say: Quick response

"Omarr did exactly as he said he would when he estimated the job. He was prompt to finish the job as the weather permitted. He did a very good job of preserving my yard and grass. The crew cleaned up after themselves very well. My neighbor, experienced in concrete, told me Omarr did 150% over the job quality of most concrete contractors. I would hire Omarr again in a second, without hesitation. I have recieved many compliments about the job he did."

"We thought we needed foundation work. They not only told us that was incorrect. They directed us to a structural engineer who would be able to help us. No charge. Most appreciated."

"Went well, so far issue is resolved. However, no warranty was given and we were warned this type of repair is not warranted. There recommendation is always to replace the windows. but we opted to recall at least at this time because replacement is about $1700 per window!"

"Rick was very punctual. Very polite and explained everything very throughly. There were complications with repairing the door, because a totally new jam needed to be milled. Rick explained all of this after he had pulled the old frame out. The job cost more than we both had anticipated, but Rick was very generous with his time and materials. At all times Rick kept in contact with me to keep me posted ont the progress. <br /> The door is wonderful. Is now air tight, and the winter I will not have to worry about putting towels down to block the air flow!. <br /> I would recommend RFD Construction to anyone because it is a well done job, minimum time spent to fix a terrible mess the Rick needed to fix for me. <br /> I have another door that needs fixed like the one that has just been repaired, but will await until next year to get this door done. <br /> Again, I will recommend him to anyone! <br /> <br />"

"Serenity did a fantastic job with our kitchen, half bath and flooring. We had some issues with our floors prior to our remodel, and these were all fixed accordingly. Their workers were great to fill us in on a daily basis. They didn’t mind that our kids came up to see what was going on as well. I would highly recommend them to any family looking to remodel any room in your house."

"I had a great experience with this company. Though my wife and I are very picky and had a hard time making decisions Ryan (the company owner) was very patient and was a great aid in helping us pick out what we wanted. Ryan has a team of five guys that do a lot of the work though he was on-site at our job working most of the time. With so many workers and great equipment they were able to form, pour, and stamp the concrete (close to a 500 square foot patio) in 4-5 hrs. Ryan's team was very friendly to work with and accommodated all the requests I made as they were performing the work. I priced out three different companies to perform the patio work for me and Ryan came in cheaper than all of them. I will definitely be using Wilmer Concret again for all my conrete needs!"

"We had a very large project of roofing, siding and gutters replaced on our house, garage & shed. and all was handled in a very timely matter going beyond what was quoted with fixing some unseen damages without the extra cost to us. Dealing with the people was a great experience from our first call to the office to get an estimator out to the project manager and the crews doing the job. Work was professional done correctly with everything cleaned up nice at completion. No complaints at all on our experience"

FAQs for concrete flatwork repair & resurface projects in Columbia City, IN

When evaluating whether patching can address your concrete blemishes, it’s important to assess the extent of the damage. Minor issues such as small cracks or chipped areas may be effectively repaired with patching techniques that restore the surface’s appearance. However, if you notice widespread deterioration, significant cracks, or structural weakening, resurfacing is recommended as a more durable, long‑term solution. A thorough evaluation by a concrete specialist can help determine the best course of action for restoring your concrete to its optimal condition.

The optimal time to resurface your concrete driveway is late spring. This period benefits from warm temperatures and softened ground conditions following winter’s freeze‑thaw cycles, ensuring that the new overlay bonds securely and matures to a durable finish. Resurfacing at this time also enhances your property's safety and curb appeal. Engage a concrete professional to schedule your project during this ideal season.
