First, he responded very quickly to our request for an estimate, and when we chose his company, they were able to begin within a week or so. He understood the issues that we had in replacing a deck that had prematurely begun deteriorating, and his crew was able to replace about 80% of it while salvaging the parts that were still in good shape. Jay was also happy to fine-tune the minor tweaks that needed to be made after the old deck was demolished and the new one installed.
