"I was disappointed that the service tech did not have the replacement faucet or garbage disposer with him when he came out. I made it clear in my request for an estimate that at a minimum, these two items need to be repaired/replaced so he should have brought them when he came. Instead, I had to wait for an hour for him to drive to the "warehouse" to pick up the items and come back. I did not see or sign the written estimate before I agreed to the quote, and I do believe I was gouged on the price, but the work needed to be done so I did not press the issue with John. Other than that, John was friendly, professional, and did a great job cleaning up after himself when we completed the work. The employee that contacted me to set up the appointment was also very friendly, prompt, courteous and professional. The lady that called the other day to see how things went was friendly and professional. For these reasons, I am willing to hire Hope Plumbing again for future plumbing need; however, I will scrutinize the invoice and demand to see the written estimate before hand."

"This is the 2nd time (and 2nd home) we hired Updike Bathroom Remodeling for bathroom remodeling projects. For this project, Dan Updike's company replaced three large previously damaged bathroom wall mirrors and installed backsplashes on four (4) bathroom sinks. They also updated our master bathroom shower stall by installing two permanent Onyx Collection Liberty Corner Shower Caddies with matching tile trim and two ADA stainless steel shower grab bars. During the planning phase, Dan visited the house two times to discuss our options, make recommendations, and take measurements. He provided his quote on time, explained the scheduling and payment processes, and set our expectations on how the project would be completed by his team. Everything went well. The two team members showed up on time, were very professional and did a great job completing each part of the project. They went above and beyond by completing a couple of unplanned items; patched two holes in the drywall at the top of one old mirror that was being replaced, then painted the area prior to installing the new mirror so everything would have a nice clean finish. They also vacuumed and cleaned all workspaces. We will definitely hire Updike Bathroom Remodeling for any future bathroom improvement needs."

"Everything went perfectly. It took only 2 days to schedule and about 2 hours to install. We replaced and old water softener that was on its last legs. The plumber, Joe, was well trained and did an excellent job. He walked me through the clock and other settings. He left the work area probably cleaner than it was before he arrived. We live in an older house and have used Howald for our plumbing and HVAC needs for many years and are very pleased with their service."

They explained that we had a "flooded tank", educated me on what that meant, and gave tips on preventing it in the future. "Overall it was a pleasant experience. The salesman Bob came out on-time and reviewed the work that needed to be done. I will note he did not look at the crawlspace of my home or make any notes regarding this facet. He gave me a quote and I received a supposed discount for being an Angie's List member and for paying directly, but it was still higher than previous quotes. They have a great automated system to keep you informed but I did not get a window of time prior to 10 am that day. I called the office and the employee's answering the phones were either really tired or need a raise cause their tone was not great. They told me I had an afternoon appointment and would call 30 minutes to showing up. The installers came out and were great guys! They did try to have me flush and reuse the lines for the same price which seemed a bit shady when the estimate was for new lines. The lines were over 30 years old and needed to be replaced. I eventually did convince them to install the new lines and they had some troubles getting into the crawlspace of my home. They were successful in replacing the lines and getting the unit installed. While no business is perfect, I think there is some room for improvement here in all the teams of their business."
