"If you want to pay the most exorbitant prices possible for your job, this is the company for you. “By the job” pricing is a rip-off, at least how these people use it. Every job is plugged into a category and prices are set by category. You might have a job that takes half an hour or one that takes 2 hours, but they’ll both be charged at the same (astronomic) rate. Had a leaking drain pipe under the kitchen sink. Needed new seals and maybe a section of plastic pipe replaced. Less than an hour job. Plumber came out and quoted $700. These people do not apply the $99 trip charge to repairs. After expressing outrage he lowered the quote to $400, plus the $99 trip charge. And tried to make it sound like he was doing a big favor. So $500 for a less than an hour job that even with $100 an hour for labor should have been $200 or so. I ate the trip charge and showed him the door. But if you like expensive plumbing repairs this is the place for you. No job too small to charge huge money for."

"I consulted Nature Floors to advise on what to do to repair my wood floors. A few areas had lightened from normal wear and tear and some areas started splintering. I was told by Nature Floors that my floors needed to be buffed and sealed twice. The work was done and within days I noticed that unlike before every scratch was showing. I contacted the company, and I was told that the actual wood was not being scratched but the seal and that this is what should be expected. They stated that although there were scratches in the seal the actual wood was protected. I shared that this outcome was not discussed when I was advised on how to repair the floors. I would have never agreed to the work had I been told your wood will be protected but it is going to look awful because it will show every scratch due to the seal. I was advised to go to a wood store to see if they could suggest a cleaner or something that would lessen the look of the scratches. A few weeks later as the scratches multiplied, I reached out to another wood company. They came out to inspect the work and immediately stated that my floors were not done properly. According to the expert, Nature Floors did not use proper inter-coat abrasion for the seal to bond properly to the floor. I was also told that they could not find evidence that the floors had been buffed or that a second seal was put on the floor. They also stated that due to the nature of my engineered wood floors they should not have opted to buff or seal it at all. They stated that my floors could not be repaired and would need replaced. And to add insult to injury I was told that I was overcharged. I immediately reached out to Nature Floors and shared what I had learned. I asked them to return my money to go towards the purchase and installation of new floors. I was told they needed to contact their lawyers and come and take pictures. I stated that I did not trust them to advise me on anything regarding my floors and I only wanted the money I spent returned. They refused to return my money and I am considering litigation. In addition, on a side note, but speaking to their lack of professionalism, when they arrived the first morning to do the job, they brought 2 children with them which I felt was unprofessional. I left the house and forgot something, so I quickly returned to find one of the children using my daughter’s bathroom. The poor child was so embarrassed, so I quickly left and immediately texted Val and asked him to please have anyone working in the house to use the guest bathroom in the basement. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They are unprofessional, they do not stand by their work, I was overcharged, the service provided did not meet industry standards and they have refused to do the right thing and return my money! FAQs for refrigerator install or repair projects in Columbus, OH

Most fridges last 10 to 15 years on average, but careful owners can see 20 years—and sometimes even up to 27—before needing to replace them with a new model. Staying on top of professional tune-ups and everyday fridge maintenance ensures the compressor operates efficiently, protects food safety, and safeguards your investment.

As a general rule, stick with a repair if the quote comes in at 50% or less of a new unit’s price. Spending $100 to $300 on a repair keeps the fridge you already know running, extends its life, and costs far less than buying a brand new replacement.

When a control board starts to fail, you’ll begin to notice erratic temps, flashing error codes, dim displays, or controls that won’t respond. Plan on spending $80 to $800 for the fix—about $440 on average—and call a professional right away to get cooling back on track and prevent food from spoiling.

Give your fridge a quick once-over every few months: vacuum the coils, wipe the door gasket, and keep plenty of space for airflow. These small tasks prevent minor issues from escalating into costly breakdowns and help the appliance last longer. If anything seems off, schedule a pro visit sooner rather than later.
