"I tried for several years to repair our worn out deck. I didn't get far at all and only demolished a portion of the deck. We got a decent tax refund this year and decided to get it done by somebody that knows what they're doing. Using Angie's List, we got four competitive bids to do the work. "I signed up for the service through AngiesList on December 2.  I called them and they said they would inspect our roof on December 7 or 14.  I have not heard from them.



Update:  April 21, 2014.  We had signed up through Angie's List and somehow it was lost at one end or the other.  Once we had made connection and the snow had melted off the roof, the inspection was completed.



The shingle that had blown off in late November, was repaired as part of the inspection.  Eave trough was installed to reduce the wear on a portion of the roof that experiences significant runoff.  The seal around a vent pipe had deteriorated and was replaced. 



We will need a new roof in a couple of years, and they will definitely be invited for a bid.
