"I have used Mason Works on a previous project in 2017 (new stone wall and front step repair) and was very happy with their work. This project was to replace driveway including matching previous stone wall, add granite curbing to right side and complete replacement of existing asphalt. Stone wall is great, granite curbing is great but does not fully match in size or color (they explained that this is typical when ordering granite) and driveway really is just OK. They use a more course asphalt mi than you'd typically see and they explained that it lasts longer. My issues with driveway: • Driveway not evenly smooth, quite a few rougher spots • Section on side of driveway that you can see it's not evenly rolled • They said to wait 5 days to park on it and I waited 3 weeks instead but there are several tire marks already from parking on it"

"Gary did an exterior chimney repair for me, in the middle of winter. He did high quality work; the new chimney section is barely noticeable. He was constrained by cold weather but he knew when to work and when not to, in order to ensure the integrity of the repair. He showed up when he said he would and cleaned up when he was finished. I would say he is a very good mason contractor."

"Ron was very helpful brainstorming what we could do and still keep within our budget. We went with asphalt for the flexibility it gave us and he never tried to push the more expensive alternatives (pavers, brick or cobblestones). His estimate came in only days after our meeting, and he was very patient with questions I had trying to make the most of a tight parking situation. The workmen who came on day one  started on a Friday afternoon while we were at work, and they kept working late until their part of the job was done. The asphalt came right on time the second day, in the early morning, and they were fast and efficient doing their part. All of the crew handled the equipment and materials with precision and care, and we would definitely use this company again!
