"The task was first to correct squeaking underflooring and second to install carpet. Wagner Floors did not correct the squeaking underflooring, which would have involved replacing plywood underflooring so as to cut plywood pieces to put all butt joints over the joists. The company said it would fix the underflooring, but did not do that part of the work. The young men who replaced the carpeting did a very good job. That was half the work. I recommend against employing Wagner Floors."

They left specific instructions as to when we could walk on the floor and when we could start moving our furniture back into the house. "Showed up on time, kept to the quote and did a beautiful job tiling the shower and floor. There were some issues with the prep so I'd recommend being sure your structural work is solid and just having them do tile work only (not installing cement board, niches or heated flooring.) "We’ve hired Chris for several projects around our home and even our camper trailer. He is honest, reliable, and a very talented handyman. We first hired him to repair and paint some drywall and fix some plumbing issues. Perfect. Then we hired him to install and configure a temperature-controlled fan to heat potentially freezing pipes in a corner of our house. Very clever. Then we hired him to create and laminate two custom built storage cabinets in our Airstream travel trailer. Here we really saw the craftmanship Chris was capable of. These required tight tolerances in a sloping curving workspace. His craftsmanship was meticulous. There are small cutouts, maybe only a 1/16 inch wide that he created to meet the exact form of the interior aluminum walls. He built these so they were secure when we travel, but could also be removed for servicing below the cabinets. He understood what we wanted, and came up with some very creative ways to meet our needs. The whole thing was a work of art."
