"The electrician who came out talked with me and answered my questions. They installed an electric charging station. I am more than satisfied. They will try to upsell you so if you don't want that you have to be very clear."

"I found Express Electrical through home advisor. It wasn't five minutes after I accepted their request when their office called me and set up an appointment for the next business day which was a Monday with a "show up" window. The tech, Walker , called 1/2 hour to let me know he was on his way. Walker was respectful and informative. He looked at my issue, told me what he was going to do and finished in a very reasonable amount of time. He explained the pricing structure before he began and I was pleased to find them reasonable. I don't write many reviews, only on the ones that provide exceptional service and the ones that are super crappy. I know I read all reviews before I choose so I would like to pass on the correct info for those that do the same. This is an aspiring family business that's on the right track to grow. You won't be sorry with these guys."

"I like this company a lot. They were very responsive about coming and quoting my service, and once agreed and scheduled they showed up promptly. All of the work was done quickly and very well, including cleaning up after themselves. I asked for some specific routing of the wires which they accommodated perfectly. Also, I got a nice bonus when I left them a note asking about how to disconnect an old electrical outlet, they just went ahead and did it for me. Thanks guys!!"

"Chris was extremely polite and well equipped to diagnose our problem. We had water in a second switch location as well as some switches that needed to be replaced. Needless to say we have a beautifully lit pool and working light on our basketball hoop for the first time in months. We will be using Chris from here on out after getting the runaround from several other electricians in town."

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in Conway, SC

Because installing coax outlets involves working around existing electrical wiring and confirming proper grounding, many homeowners prefer to hire a licensed electrician. A professional completes the work safely, secures the line behind the wall, and ensures the installation meets local code, which reduces the risk of damage or future repairs.

You still need a coaxial outlet for most cable-based internet services. The modem draws its signal from a cable line that terminates at a dedicated wall jack. Once the modem is online, your Wi-Fi router can broadcast the signal throughout the home, so the outlet’s location doesn’t affect wireless performance. If an existing jack is damaged or in an inconvenient spot, an electrician can move it or install a new one to maintain a strong, reliable connection.

Coaxial cable loses signal strength the farther it runs. A 50-foot length introduces noticeable loss, and a 100-foot stretch can drop the signal by roughly 30%. A weaker signal can result in a fuzzy picture or slower internet speeds. To maintain high performance, limit cable length whenever possible, select the correct cable grade, and route it efficiently. If your layout demands an exceptionally long run, an electrician can install an inline amplifier to boost the signal and maintain picture or data quality.
