"The job was quoted. Matt made good suggestions to improve upon our design but gave us the choice to accept or not. No pressure. For example we were thinking of a four foot fence, but he thought five would be more effective for preventing deer. The gate was upgraded also. <br /> <br />Materials took about a month to get in the colors we wanted for the fence and posts. Mid-month Matt called, apologized for the delay and said if we wanted standard color posts and fence, he could start sooner. We said to wait for what we ordered and wanted. <br /> <br />Construction went very quickly with three employees. Matt was very insistent to his people that they must not walk through the garden since it was about half planted when they installed the fence. Clean up was thorough. Quality was also excellent. "After looking at a few fence contractors, Lehigh Valley Fence became the obvious choice pretty quickly. Fran (the owner) came out to do an estimate, and he listened to our needs and was very easy to work with. A couple of weeks before the install date they had to find a different lumber distributor for the type of wood we wanted, and Fran kept me informed and updated throughout the entire process. Then when the lumber finally arrived, they noticed that a lot of the pieces had flaws and Fran asked me come out to their workshop to take a look. I would have never noticed the flaws had they not pointed them out! This shows you how much integrity Lehigh Valley Fence has. He could have easily installed the flawed lumber without me noticing until later. When it was time for the install, Kevin (the foreman) and his team did a fantastic job. They were very professional and quick, and the install was done with great workmanship. Kevin was easy to work with and made all the changes we requested. Then when the project was completed, Fran actually refunded us a little bit of money because he realized he calculated the length of our yard incorrectly at first. I would have never caught that. Once again, this shows you how much integrity he has. A few months later we asked them to make an adjustment to the grade of the fence (after we had our yard re-graded). Fran, put us on the schedule immediately and had workers out there a week or so later to make the adjustment. They were able to do it in an afternoon, and it turned out great. No home project goes perfectly, so having a contractor that you can trust is so important. That’s why I would recommend Lehigh Valley Fence anyone looking to have a fence installed."

"I contacted JLS Landscaping to estimate the job of landscaping the front of our house.  Jim Langenstein, the landscape architect came out and discussed our needs and budget.  He returned a few days later with a detailed design showing the outline of the beds and the names and placement of the plants.  He described all plants specified in his proposal, and suggested alternatives based on our input.   He also included an in-ground lights system to wash over the front of the house.  <br /> We scheduled the work and James and his crew came out and completed everything in two days.  Jim was there the entire time supervising the work.  The design included some daffodils, and when Jim showed me the bag of bulbs that they were getting ready to plant I asked what color they were.  Jim said they were white with yellow cups, but I wanted yellow with orange cups.  The nursery where they bought their stock didn't have any of those, so Jim scoured the area stores for yellow daffodils until he found some (thank you, Home Depot!).   <br /> James and his guys did a wonderful job.  I can't wait 'til spring when all the plants will bloom, it's really going to look spectacular.  I was very impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail of both Jim L. and James.  I will definitely use JLS Landscaping again for any lawn and landscaping work. <br />"
