"On the initial phone converstion, Nick quoted me a price of $145 for the replacement of one door and if I needed another door replacement it would be $135.  In addition, if I needed track replacement or door handle there would be additonal cost.
Nick showed up puntual and was VERY professional and considerate  (obviously he's not from Florida or New York).  He told me NOT to do the 2nd door and NOT to replace the track.  WOW, who does that ?
He was deliberate, meticulous, and charged me the $145 that was initially  quoted !

"I am an extreme perfectionist and because of this, it is very rare for me to hire someone to do work around our house. Since hurricane windows are so heavy I decided to do some research and see if I could find a company that could live up to my high expectations. We selected Home Install Services because of their excellent reviews and highly rated product. Tom Salamone Jr. was extremely knowledgeable and presented himself in a very professional manner. Because of the aforementioned we decided to hire them to replace our old inefficient jalousie windows and entry door. I warned Tom up front about my very high standards and he said that is good because they have very high standards as well. We found the installation crew to be clean cut and professional. It was rewarding to see that there are still people out there willing to work so hard especially considering the heat and humidity. We don't recall ever seeing them take a break. My wife came home one day, with a car load of groceries and they even volunteered to carry them in for her. They were also meticulous about keeping the worksite clean. They were great! The project was done on time and the fit and finish was perfect. I went around looking at each window, inside and out to see if I could find the slightest imperfection and I could not. My neighbor is a retired home builder and he also was very impressed along with the building inspector. I am not one who is easily impressed therefore I usually don't take the time to write a review, but because we found Home Install Services to be such a class act I couldn't help myself!"

"The windows and doors are wonderful.  However the project took longer than promised.  
I will say, the company does beautiful work with regard to installation and sealing of windows, doors and overall craftsmanship..  I've seen what other companies have done to neighbors houses and the work was sloppy and they actually damaged the house.  That wasn't the case here!  

I did have a few problems with our sales person Cary.  I then I started dealing with Monica, the Operations Director, who got things done right and in a timely fashion..

Actually Cary, the windows which had to be changed at your cost of 1200 were windows that you ordered incorrectly  and and were not the windows ordered according to the contract, so yes, I required the correct windows be installed."

"First time great ,was good job and I used an Angie's List Big Deal but couldn't complete job in time paid for. I paid extra. Second time I called the estimator wanted $100. an hour. That was to do the back half of the clean out of dead fronds. I thought that was a bit much as I expected at least another 5/6 hours based on how it went last time. I asked to bundle and put by the road. I can't afford $100. an hour for shrub clean out. Last time two people came. Work was good but not for $100. an hour. Estimator said I could not use another Angies List offer as I already used one 6 /8 months prior. This was with in city limits, 3 lot site."

"It went relatively well. Eric, the owner/manager, was very responsive and customer-service oriented. Eric and his team also spent time during the quote process to advise on different aspects that were not brought up in other quotes, which helped with the final deliverable meeting expectations (i.e. eliminating residual soffits from previous exterior pocket doors and smoothing exterior wall surface around new doors). I believe we were one of his earlier clients to do an impact glass window project this large. The initial installation of the windows, removal of shudder material went relatively quickly; however, the installers completed quite a bit of work, that was not up to our or Eric's quality standards, resulting in re-do, reworking time. Successive attempts resulted in a switch-out out of the team and a different crew. As a customer I appreciated the dedication to quality work, but would have appreciated it being completed more quickly. FL Project Masters (FLPM) has a few key guys that are really good (e.g. Mike Sipes, in particular) that did exceptional inspection, follow-up, and quality finishing work. In short, although there were a couple of hiccups in the project due to the initial team, FLPM Eric kept his word, followed through, communicated, and made sure the project was delivered and very close to budgeted cost. I would feel comfortable recommending FLPM for other jobs."
