"Would give zero stars if possible! Larry Hoang at first presented himself as an honest, reasonable man and contractor but his actions have proven this very wrong. We have two major roof leaks that will cost us thousands of dollars to fix - caused by deficient solar panel installation. He refuses to repair them, despite three independent reports from other local licensed contractors indicating the roof damage was *directly* caused by the solar panel installation. We am currently filing a formal complaint with the California State Contractors Licensing Board in an effort to get him to respond, as we cannot even get our roof fixed until he agrees to remove the panels. We hired him specifically because we wanted to support local businesses - but we sincerely regret this decision. Buyer BEWARE! This is not an honorable businessman - nor business!"

Samuel Bippus, son of German immigrants, left the farm and started as a union roofer in Sacramento in 1952. In 1957, he moved to Glenn County and started Bippus Roofing. The company has been a fixture in the business community ever since. From 1957 until his death in 1999, Bippus Roofing built many houses and installed literally thousands of roofs from Anderson to Arbuckle, and Stoneyford to Susanville. Since 1999, his sons, Gordon and Matthew, have been carrying on that tradition. They have worked in the company since childhood and joined the company full time in 1978 and 1981 respectively. With many years of hands on experience in the four county area of Glenn, Colusa, Butte and Tehama, as well as skills learned from 7 years roofing in New York City, Bippus Roofing continues to be a vital part of the Northern California Roofing community

"I have owned many homes and worked with many contractors and Rob of Sunrise roofing is one of the best I have worked with. He is honest, reliable, and good at what he does. When I asked for a quote to replace our roof he got back to me quickly with a clearly written statement of what they would do and for how much. Despite being in tremendous demand, he is very responsive to questions and very clear about their availability and the timing of when the work will be done. Most important to me, he does what he says he will do and when he says he will do it. In my case, I had to delay the work for a number of months and was pleasantly surprised that he was willing to honor his initial quote despite the delay and a significant increase in the demand for their services. I am also very grateful for the extra work they did repairing some problems that were found as part of an inspection. Many contractors would have used that work as an opportunity to increase their bid significantly but Rob and Sunrise did it as part of the job and refused to accept any additional payment; despite my offering to pay them extra multiple times. Finally, the roof looks great and I’m very happy I hired Rob and Sunrise roofing to do the job."
