"Work started on a Saturday with large experienced teardown crew. They completed teardown and started wood replacement where necessary. At end of the day they covered the entire roof with sheeting in case of rain. A small experienced crew returned early on Monday to complete the wood work. When city inspection was done on wood repair, they started the shingle work and finished in a few days. At the end of every day they went on a nail patrol with magnetic tools looking for nails around the perimeter of the house. They did a very professional job with roof, cleanup, etc. I used Hoyt before on another house and will use them again."

"Contracted Federal Building and Roofing with Richard and his team after Listening to Richard's suggestions during the estimate. Had bad water damage to many Rafter Tails as well as a severe leak in the garage, Had several Contractors out for estimates some wanting to go a much more expensive route to repair the damaged wood on the Rafters as well as suggesting a complete Torch down on the entire roof which was not needed, which came with a less than desirable Warranty along with higher costs. Richard gave me peace of mind with his knowledge and suggestions which in turn provided a much longer Warranty and cheaper more effective route to repairing the damaged Rafter tails,all at a very reasonable price compared to other estimates. Any Contractor should have been able to provide me with these suggestions and alternatives but failed to do so. Richard and his team were Professional, polite,cleaned up thoroughly each and every day and completed the job on time as scheduled."

"The inspection and estimate were completed in a timely manner and the work was done on schedule and in a very professional manner. Two man crew spent about 4hours doing the repair as described. The leak was fixed and I am pleased. The price was higher than I expected, but it was the lowest of three Angie's List contractors so I am satisfied."

"Overall they were quick to respond, set up estimate, and once booked was able to perform work within a few days (after 72 hour contract signing). Francisco was very up front and honest. The two gentlemen that came to do the repair work were very nice and answered any questions I had. Couldn't asked for nicer people. Their customer service skills were top notch as well as the work they performed. My only reason for 4.5 stars was they were a little bit late but not drastically and I had to call the office to make sure they were still going to show up. Again once they showed up they got right to work and did a wonderful job. I've already given their name and number to a friend of mine for her to get an estimate on her house. Oscar's crew showed up ready to work and got the job done before the rain started. Cleaned up and removed old tv cable wiring and left everything in top shape. I had a few leaks on my flat roof during all the rains and Adrian did a great job taking video of the roof issues I was having & providing video with the quote, then took step by step videos to show me the repairs being done. Very pleased with this service, and customer interaction, very timely. He explained the potential future issues I could expect with my 20 year old roof, but did not pressure to upsale me on something I didn't need right away. I will look to him when I do get ready to replace my whole roof. I am picky, an extreme do it yourselfer, an Engineer, and it's hard to find something involving a house I don't have a pretty good knowledge about, but I was impressed with this company and discussing roofing and best practices that suited my needs.
