"I highly recommend Sunlux! They are honest, responsive, and very customer focused. Couldn't ask for a better company to work with. If you appreciate a company who honors their commitments without any hassle this is the company to hire. No third party installers. Employees are knowledgeable, polite, and will exceed your expectations. You can count on Sunlux to make things right"

"Leo was very helpful and quick to respond. We’re happy with how our 2 bathrooms turned out. Project was completed within the time promised. Our only complaint is that the workers did not clean up very well. But overall, we’re satisfied and we’ll use them again. "

"The team at OC Solar were terrific to work with in getting our project off the ground and finally fully activated last week! It was a first class experience from their partnership with Bo Folklinga to get it set up to the logistics of the install and activation with Joanna Pedroza, and everyone in between! Their communication interface across all phases of the process was easy to navigate and questions were answered right away. If you are considering making the move to powering from the sun, I highly recommend OC Solar...thanks!! "

"We had such a great experience with Solar Repair! Before starting our project we spoke and met with several other providers and did a lot of research on our own. From beginning to end the entire team at Solar Repair treated us with the utmost care and respect. Although they are still a fairly new company the amount of knowledge and information they gave us was times 10 compared to the others who have been around a lot longer. The information resulted in major savings and much better rebates and credits. Additionally, we ended up with better quality Panasonic Solar Panels and a great Enphase Battery Storage System. Again, the entire team was GREAT! Always taking our calls or calling us back immediately. Believe, me we called a ton and had a ton of questions!!! Thank you Garrett, Markie, Luis, and Steven you really made us feel like family!"

FAQs for solar panel installation projects in Corona, CA

If you experience frequent power outages, want to become more energy independent, or aim to reduce your reliance on the grid, investing in a solar battery system can be worthwhile. With a solar battery, you'll have backup power day or night, even if the local grid fails. However, to power larger appliances or ensure you have energy for longer periods, you'll need to invest in multiple batteries. While the upfront cost is higher, many homeowners find the added peace of mind to be well worth the investment.

Solar battery storage capacity is measured in kilowatt-hours, which directly indicates the amount of energy the battery can store. This measurement determines how long essential appliances will continue operating during an outage. A clear understanding of capacity helps in planning the overall system size to ensure effective backup power and to maintain optimal performance even as the battery ages.

Determining the correct size for your solar battery system requires evaluating your monthly energy usage. Start by reviewing your utility bills to identify your average consumption, and then match the battery’s kilowatt-hour rating to cover essential loads. Consulting with a solar professional ensures that the system is sized to deliver continuous backup power, meeting both immediate and future energy needs.

A solar battery's lifespan ranges from five to 15 years, and its durability is affected by battery quality, charging frequency, and environmental conditions. Regular maintenance and proper usage are key to maximizing longevity. Monitoring your system, following manufacturer guidelines, and scheduling routine inspections all help ensure that your battery performs reliably throughout its service life.
