"We did quite an extensive home upgrade - moved plumbing, moved walls, changed ceiling and walls texture, added windows, and completely gutted the exterior garage to turn into a nice insulated workshop. Innovo Rennovations listened to everything we asked for and offered suggestions when needed. They are wonderfully flexible to work with and strive to deliver a quality product. We reported some things we were not happy with at the final walk through, but Kurt and team rallied everyone quickly to fix everything without any further issues. They stand behind the work, they deliver, and are great to work with."

"I recently had two baths remodeled by Level Line Remodeling/Adrian Diaz. I was very happy with the end results. My baths were very old and therefore some issues did arise however Adrian was very professional and patient and made sure everything was perfect. I would highly recommend this company. They are professional, courteous and showed up for work on time every day, keeping the work site clean and organized. "

Customers say: Quick response

"RCU was just the contractor I needed to completely renovate my home. They were able to do all the work from plumbing, electrical, floor installation, tile floor & shower, install and paint new cabinets, move windows and exterior repair. Robert is extremely quality focused and thorough. He and his crew showed up every day and made sure that every detail was right. I’m so grateful that we found RCU through Angi."

"Very unprofessional, would not recommend to my enemy. They do not care about their employees or safety of others. If you are okay with harassment maybe this is the company you should use. "

FAQs for remodel to accommodate a disability projects in Corpus Christi, TX

Standard Medicare coverage often doesn't extend to home modifications, such as roll-in showers. In specific circumstances where medical necessity is clearly established, limited coverage might be available through certain Medicare programs. Many homeowners explore alternative funding sources such as home modification grants, veterans' benefits, or specialized financing programs designed for accessibility improvements. Consulting with a Medicare representative about your specific situation provides the most accurate guidance.

Roll-in showers deliver significant benefits beyond their monetary return, particularly in terms of safety, independence, and long-term accessibility. By eliminating barriers to bathing, these installations help prevent falls while accommodating mobility devices, such as wheelchairs or walkers. Their open design creates a contemporary appearance that appeals to many homebuyers. For households planning to age in place or accommodate family members with mobility challenges, the functional advantages often outweigh pure financial considerations.

A standard roll-in shower installation takes two to four days. Projects requiring extensive renovation or plumbing changes may take longer, potentially extending to several weeks or months. Factors affecting the timeline include existing bathroom configuration, permit processing times, contractor availability, and material delivery schedules. Creating proper drainage slopes often requires additional preparation time compared to traditional shower installations, particularly when modifying existing floor structures.
