"It went very well. He tried to auger the toilet to save money in case he didn't have to pull it off but no luck. They were great about fitting us in, the timing was even better than promised and he did a really good job on the toilet and made sure that everything had cleared. The only reason I down graded quality was that my toilet was scratched by the auger. I knew that was possible from previous experience and I chose that option to try and save money so it isn't really their fault. He cleaned up and I would definitely hire them again."

"Quick response,  Eric performed an inspection, cleanout, and camera inspection of sewer line.  Replaced new sewer line within 2 days of first service call.  Very happy with the company, we purchased a Royal club memebership for our rental and residence. <br />"

"James arrived earlier than expected, put protective covers over his feet and came in to inspect the problem. Went to work immediately to clean out the main line where he pulled out a mass of roots. He was very friendly and polite, did the work fast and offered an electronic payment option, which I used. I was very satisfied with the service and will use the company again in the future. <br />"

"I called Drum Plumbing at about 3:45 p.m. on that afternoon. I had called Royal Plumbing a few minutes earlier because Royal had worked for us before and we had been very satisfied with their service but on this occasion that I called I was told there would be a very high surcharge for after hours work even though we had been a previous customer so I decided to keep looking and by chance called Drum Plumbing. I reached the plumber by phone and he told me he had just completed his last job and was available. I asked if there would be an after hours surcharge and he said no so I said come on over. The plumber, Mike, arrived in about fifteen or twenty minutes and I showed him that both our toilets wouldn't flush and that water and debris was backing up into our tub. This is a bad situation to be in as you can imagine so you're really at the mercy of your plumber's after hours pricing if it happens to you. I was greatly impressed that he was willing to work later in the day without gouging me for more payment. Mike immediately suspected a main outflow drain blockage and the first thing he did was locate the outside access points to the sewer line. They were covered in soil due to a foundation job that had been done a few months earlier but he located the access and used a big machine that he has to rod out the entire line from the house almost all the way to the city main drain pipe in the alley. The work didn't take a real long time, probably thirty or forty minutes but it wasn't a real easy job especially with the access port being buried under a couple of inches of dirt to begin with. The machine pulled out several gobs of baby wipes which I had been flushing, two at a time, thinking that wouldn't clog the drain since they flushed easily. After he finished this he checked to make sure the problem was solved and sure enough, the toilets flushed again and the tub drained just fine. Of course, I had to completely disinfect the tub after he left but the problem of the blockage was fixed. I was so relieve that within about an hour and a half my horrible problem was completely fixed - for seventy dollars. He actually asked for sixty but I didn't feel that was fair so I went ahead and paid seventy, which, now that I think of it, is still too little for the work he did. This plumber could see that my family is on a tight budget and I really appreciate that he did so much and asked for so little in return. Well done, Mr. Drum. Well done. I will absolutely call Drum Plumbing in the future should I need a plumber and if he's not available, I'll wait until he is if I possibly can."

"I'm selling my house and the buyers had their plumber check the pipes in my home for leaks and it failed. Owen's came out and tested my pipes and thoroughly began eliminating where the leak was not. They discovered that a trap pipe had previously been repaired by the owner that had it before me and it was a bad repair. They had to cut a small hole in my wall to get to it but they fixed it and we installed an access door (purchased from Home Depot fairly cheap and easily installed) for the next homeowner in case they ever need to get to that plumbing again. I was there the whole time and these guys didn't mind getting dirty, were friendly and knowledable. If I ever have plumbing issues is the future I think I would hire these guys. I thought the repair was going to cost me an arm and a leg but was relieved when I found out it was under $500. <br /> They also installed a cleanout that the City of Corpus Christi had removed erroneously (it was on my property and was my plumbing not the Citys!) so I had them install another one which took only 30 minutes for them to dig a hole, saw into the main drain and install and cleanout. Word of advise, if the City of CC ever does plumbing work on your property get a detailed report on what exactly did there because they can't be trusted. <br /> <br />"

"<p>The hose to our kitchen faucet got a crack in it and started leaking.  The faucet is about 12-13 years old and I could not find that the manufacturer was even making this specific type of faucet any longer, so I figured the hose may be difficult to replace.  Lowes & Home Depot no longer carried the part but Five Star was able to locate a 'universal' hose to this faucet.  I think the price was fair and reasonable.   We have used them in the past and will continue to do so.  I am having them provide a bid to clear my french drains next. </p> <br />"
