"I am not impressed with the uneven mess of ground that was backfilled and fairly deep sagging dirt where trenches were filled. I understand we have a lot of rock in our dirt but the ground was left so loose around the foundation and trenches that it has sunk causing extremely uneven ground which I'm sure will become mud holes after the first rain."

Their Fecun brush mulching monster was a wonder to behold in action. Not only was the work down superbly well, but the whole operation was amazing and entertaining to observe first hand. Their mulcher shredded overgrown and thick vegetation (much of it as large as full-grown Russian olives) in an incredibly short time. What remained on the grown resemble "beauty bark" which will work its way back into the soil and avoids the need for burning (putting massive amounts of smoke into the air) or hauling to a dumpsite (adding to cost). On top of all of that, Cody and Roger (son and father team) are great people to hang around with. Nice folks with a good sense of humor. Best money I have ever spent on land management, and I recommend CK Excavating to anyone without reservation. Will no doubt bring them back at some time in the future for more help."

The owner Felipe was very courteous on the phone and his son Nick was very professional as he detailed everything that was to be done giving me the best price. The job was done quickly and efficiently and included removal of old crumbling curb, replacing it with brand new curbing all around existing pathways and garden spaces. I just love the new curbing, and I plan on putting in decorative landscaping rock and pea gravel in the spring. I will be sending pictures at that time to add to this review.
