"Bob and his crew were great. I installed my own forms and had the area excavated and ready to go. He gave me a quick quote and he and his crew brought the concrete from the tuck on the street to my backyard where the pad was being poured for our hot tub. It was about 150 feet from the front to the back, They showed up on time they stated and met the truck and did the work. They floated and finished the concrete for a reasonable quote I felt. The pad was 9x16 by 4" thick. I would recommend them"

"Contractor cooperated with  trying to get window installed prior to onset of winter and negotiating a price for a portion of the work to be done in December (window install) with window well installation to follow in spring.  Homeowner provided excavated area for access to foundation. <br /> Crew showed up as scheduled.  Opening  was marked out and then cut free hand with concrete saw.  Concrete was pulled out of opening, jack hammered into small pieces and removed by hand.  Opening was then framed, siliconed, water shield, drilled and screwed to foundation.  When it came time to install window, it was discovered the opening was too small due to an non-square opening.   This required removal of window, pulling off the water shield. hacking and chiseling away a good portion of the framing, reinstall damaged water shield, and reinstalling the window. <br /> After window was fully installed, it was discovered that the windows did not close squarely and  only the bottom window lock would engage easily, but the top one required pushing on one of the sliders in order to lock the top lock.  Also, when the framing was hacked away to gain some extra room to allow setting the window, it was not cut evenly the full depth of the framing.  This ultimately created an obstruction on the inside when it came time to trim out the window. <br /> Long story short - I spent a day removing the window entirely, cutting away framing full depth, supporting sill full length on a flat level sill rather than using and couple shims to support the window and installied window per manufacturers instruction. <br /> I was expecting a more accurate and square concrete cut using a track/rail system that may have prevented many of the these problems.  The concrete opening measurements should have been verified before framing the opening and the window framing checked for square before installing water shield and window.. <br />"

"Doug and his guys did an outstanding job. They tore down the old wall and steps and dug out the flagstones on the walk. They cut back the yard to accommodate the backfill for the new wall. They then build a beautiful dry laid bluestone wall, with 5 massive solid bluestone steps, and a beautiful bluestone walkway. They were able to reuse some of the large block from the old wall and the rest of the old wall served as backfill for the new wall. In addition, there was one broken concrete step on the stairs leading up to the front door of the house. Doug and his crew broke that out and replaced it with a bluestone step. The crew showed up every day, weather permitting and worked hard. The were very responsive to my questions and concerns. It was really a pleasure to have them working here. Doug provided a clear and accurate estimate of the work to be done. I recommend him highly. I would not hesitate to have him do additional work for me."

"T&T answered my inquiry right away, and came the same day to assess the problems that needed to be addressed. They took photos, explained the repairs needed and provided an estimate. They confirmed when they would do the job, and came on time, and finished in half a day. I would recommend T&T for roof repairs to others."

"They were great! I called just a few days before last Thanksgiving when a snow storm was predicted for the weekend. They made it out on Black Friday and for a perfectly reasonable price, got my roof fixed before the snow came."

FAQs for concrete driveways & floors installation projects in Coxsackie, NY

Polished concrete floors offer many benefits with very few drawbacks. While issues like discoloration, stains, or imprints may occur during pouring, these are rare when working with a skilled flooring contractor. Once polished, concrete floors are easy to maintain, long-lasting, and eco-friendly. They also resist mold and moisture, making them ideal for allergy-prone households, and offer versatile design options for both indoor and outdoor use.

Polished concrete flooring is often more affordable than tile. It involves lower material costs and less labor-intensive installation. Tile installations require additional leveling and preparation, which increases labor costs. Opting for concrete flooring helps reduce upfront expenses and provides a durable, stylish finish that saves money over time with minimal maintenance.

While epoxy flooring offers enhanced durability and toughness compared to polished concrete, it comes with higher material and labor costs. If budget is a top priority, polished concrete floors provide a resilient and attractive finish without the premium price tag, making them an ideal choice for value and long-term performance.

Polished concrete floors last 20 years or more when installed by licensed professionals and maintained with proper care. Their enduring finish withstands heavy use and remains visually impressive for decades. Regular deep cleaning and maintenance help safeguard the floor’s integrity, providing homeowners with a long-lasting, cost‐effective solution that endures daily wear without compromising style.

Polished concrete floors increase home value by offering a modern, sleek appearance and exceptional durability. A professionally installed floor not only enhances visual appeal but also minimizes maintenance expenses, making the property more attractive to prospective buyers. This flooring upgrade delivers a refined look while boosting overall market competitiveness and long-term property value.
