"Scheduling the work was a major issue,, as they are busy, I choose a busy time of the year to install. The patio cover went up well, and looks fantastic. They also installed optional LED lighting, complete with dimmer switches."

"Excellent. They were really professional. Their leak repair guy is outstanding and quickly made the repair under the cool deck. As it turned out, a week later another leak started in a different location that was under pavers. Again, he came right out and efficiently made the repair. The regular monthly team has been here twice so far and I am amazed at how quickly and neatly they trimmed all the shrubs and blew all the leaves out of the rocks and the patio, etc., in 25 minutes, where my previous landscaper took 2 - 3 hours and his results were not as good. Great company!!!"

"Billy responded to my request for a quote the same day I entered my information in Angi. He came the next day, gave me a reasonable quote and told me what all work his crew would do. I immediately hired him. Although he gave me a date they could do the work, he later called and said they could do it much sooner, if that was OK with us. I cannot say enough good about Billy and his entire crew. They are professional, efficient, friendly, clean up after themselves and are very courteous. They even covered my son's classic truck, which was near the path to get the cement from the truck to our back yard, so nothing would damage it. Any concrete work I will ever need, will be done by Ability Concrete; and I whole heartedly recommend them to anyone who wants a perfect job at a very reasonable price. They are winners!!!"

"They were prompt and on time for the repair work. They communicated openly and honestly about what they were doing and why and they were also able to give recommendations with good, better, best solutions. <br /> To repair the leak, they had to take out the spa filtering system; bust through the concrete floor of the pool house and dig down between 4-5 feet. They found the clay pipe holder had failed and all the dirt/rocks/material came directly onto the pipes which caused them to crack and some had holes about the size of a quarter. Very messy. <br /> They are squeezing our repair work in amongst other jobs so we can open our pool by Memorial day weekend. We would highly recommend them. <br />"

"Concrete flooring is a unique idea, and not many people were willing to take on the job. I probably called a dozen contractors and had difficulty finding anyone willing. Cary and Jon gave us a fair estimate (which was in the middle range of the three that I received), and stuck to it. Concrete can be scary because you never know what is below your floors, and the prep work is overwhelming. The house was vacant, which helped, but it still took 8 full days to complete the job. The crew was meticulous and worked extremely hard. They went through many details to make sure that the floors looked perfect, and the price included some custom stain work in the main entry to the home as well as new concrete in our kitchen, bathrooms, and a 4 inch border around the entire house. <br /> I know $7,500 is a big chunk of change, but honestly, home depot charges about $3 per sf to remove tile, and another $2 and something to put it down, plus the cost of tile and grout, so in the long run, I think it's worth it. We have a beautiful custom floor that needs only be cleaned with a wet mop, hides dirt very well, looks shiny and modern, and NO GROUT TO CLEAN.  <br /> Like I said, they stand behind their work, and once you contract with them, they stick it out even if more time and effort is needed to do the job right. In other words, no surprise additional fees that pop up after the job starts. I highly recommend them. <br />"

FAQs for concrete patios, walks & steps installation projects in Coyote-springs, NV

Most sidewalks rely on a ready‑mix blend of Portland cement, sand, gravel, and water that trucks deliver to your site and pour in one continuous lift. For added strength, many contractors fold in fiber mesh or steel reinforcement. This mix cures into a rock‑solid slab that stands up to foot traffic, freeze‑thaw cycles, and daily wear for decades. Expect a pro to recommend a 4‑inch‑thick pour for standard walkways.

With the right mix, proper drainage, and routine upkeep, a concrete sidewalk can last 25 to 50 years. Freeze‑thaw cycles, road salt, and heavy loads all shorten that timeline, but sealing every few years and patching small cracks early keeps damage in check. Think of sealing as inexpensive insurance for decades of safe, stable footing. In milder climates, some slabs push well past the 30‑year mark without major repairs.

Concrete sidewalks crack as a result of significant temperature fluctuations and heavy load pressures. The freeze-thaw cycles and sustained weight from vehicles or intense foot traffic force the concrete to develop cracks over time. Applying a premium sealant every two to three years and substituting salt with sand for de-icing minimizes crack formation. Regular maintenance and timely repairs safeguard the sidewalk’s structural integrity and extend its service life.
