"Things went well, the team was very friendly and did a wonderful job keeping the place clean as they worked. The project was completed in the time frame quoted and at a fair price. The family room and bookcase looks like the work was done by the original builder, so there is a seamless flow from prior to new construction. Gary wanted to ensure that things like baseboards, ceiling texture and door hardware were as close as possible to upstairs. These touches went a long way in the flow of our home. We've had a couple small issues, however Gary has been very responsive to addressing them."

"We called Fisher Masonry for a quote to tear down the old crumbling chimney on our house and re-build it. They explained the entire process to us and then gave us a reasonable quote, so we asked them to do the job. They arrived at our house promptly at an agreed-on time, covered the area where they would be working, set up scaffolding and had the old chimney torn down and a new chimney built in its place within several hours. After the job was finished, they cleaned the area up and showed us the new work. "Phil and his crew came on time, placed dropcloths all the way from the front door to the work areas, and set right to work. They completed framing and drywall in one day, and came for a second half-day for finish work and painting. Everything looks as if it came with the house. Their workmanship and professionalism are outstanding. <br /> Everything that I routinely ask workers to do -- dropcloths, leaving space for the mail truck, securing cigarette butts -- they already had covered. When they were ready to use a nail gun, one worker came into the room and told us it would be noisy. When cleaning up after sawing wood, another worker swept our entire garage, leaves and all. <br /> I definitely recommend Phil Bartell and his crew for any similar work. <br /> And I thank previous reviewers -- I found Phil on Angie's List! <br />"
