"<ul> <li>My company's typical window & door replacement projects are for clients with existing older homes. Often there are no architectural plans for the houses, so Mr. Medeiros obtains microfilm records, does site visits in which the measurements of the houses are taken, together with extensive photographs. A significant amount of interaction is required between us as the client and the architectural firm to lay out the locations and detailed specifications of the windows & doors, which have complicated certifications documents. Compliance with the certifications must be verified for each and every window opening and Mr. Medeiros patiently attends to all these details in preparing the architectural plans. Once the architectural plans are ready for submittal, Mr. Medeiros personally navigates the plans through the complicated process of attendance at the required Board of Architects meeting (where the plans must be approved prior to submittal to the building department) and then through the various divisions of the building department.  Of the fifteen or so projects that Medeirors Architectural Group has worked on for my company, only one had to be re-submitted for further review, however it was not the Architect's fault, but due to the design opinion of one of the architects on the Board for the City of Coral Gables. Furthermore, Mr. Medeiros follows up with me on each and every project he works on to see how the project went  through completion.
