Besides doing very high-quality work, I also commend Tex for being very good at communication--he was very responsive to my phone calls and emails, and he showed up when he said he would (we had 2 other guys bidding on the job, one of them also from HomeAdvisor, who totally flaked on us, so Tex's communication and professionalism were very refreshing). I hired Tex to install based boards and door frames across my whole main level. I was picturing the job taking me 4-5 weekends, but Tex and team completed the work in 1.5 days. "The project went great. Bruce and staff were very patient with us as we tried to figure out what we could afford to have done. We waited one year and saved up to have the kitchen cabinets refaced. So very glad we did. We also had a quartz counter top installed. Also Kitchen Tune-up added a trash/recycle cabinet and updated our pantry. Kitchen Tune up is very professional. "Peter Jr. came out, looked over and measured the deck, rails, spindles and stairs and then discussed the three options for staining the deck. After getting another, and much higher estimate, I asked Carroll painting to do the work. They called and gave me a date to start the work so my wife and I could clear the deck of furniture. The work crew showed up on time and started sanding everything and then power washed everything before departing. They returned late the next morning and checked to make sure the deck was dry and then started staining all parts of the deck. We went with a semi-transparent stain and the crew hand brushed all of the deck and it came out great. I'd hire them again and would recommend their services."

"l cOur home is around 20 years old and had brass hinges (that showed outside the cabinet door) and brass handles. We wanted to put 'European hinges' in instead to hide the hinges since this is more to what's in style today. We also wanted to move to brush nickle handles. Bill used to have his own cabinet shop. In addition we had a small hole and a much larger area that need to have drywall placed in those areas. We had Bill and Pat do the work because we were very pleased with their painting and Bill has done a number of renovations on homes they bought and sold as well as the work their doing at their current home. Bill said he was able to do these and we felt we could trust his work (as shown by the outstanding work they did with the exterior painting of our house). The provided good fair bid for the work to be done. <br /> Bill and Pat worked together on the projects. Bill replaced the hinges to 36 cabinets (which required the whole to be cut in the back of the door for each European hinge to be placed in) while Pat replaced the handles to the cabinets and drawers--somewhere in the 60 handles range. They added 'stoppers' on the doors so they would close quietly. In addition Bill repaired the 'rail system' for one of our drawers so it would pull out smoothly. <br /> Bill fixed the two holes--the smaller one and much larger one with drywall. In addition there were a few areas where the original drywall taping was a bit rough and a small crank in another drywall area. He repaired all of those areas as well. They sprayed it with 'orange peel' and Pat painted the areas with a couple of coats of paint each and did some feathering of the paint so it would not stand out from the rest of the painted rooms. The work done was amazing. We could not see the taped or caulked areas. It was as if those spots just disappeared and never existed--we were very, very pleased. <br /> Bill is quite the handy man and Pat complements the work he does. We are looking to use them to do some additional projects around our house over the next couple of months. We can not speak highly enough for their work, for their suggestions and for their advice. <br />"
