"Overall everything went well. The owner stopped by and provided a free estimate. He was very responsive with all the email correspondences... This was very important to me, considering my experience with previous contractors who were unresponsive. All in all the price was VERY reasonable. The fence installation was quick and efficient. I would recommended.
"

"I highly recommend contacting Hidden Fence if you are considering a fence for you dog. Lester has obviously spent time understanding canine behavior and has built a product and training that emphasizes using an electric fence to support training and learned behavior. Other systems we researched rely on the shock system to provide the training.

Lester spent only an hour installing our fence system and two hours training our dog and progressively increasing the "shock" power. Our dog learned the boundary of the fence on the lowest power. It is clear that Lester uses a system tailored specifically to each dog and not based on age, weight, or breed.

We contacted Hidden Fence via the website and received a personalized email within a few hours setting up a phone conversation. Lester spent nearly an hour with me on the phone talking about the Hidden Fence product, services, pricing, and answering specific questions we had.

Scheduling and installation was easy and straightforward. The price and service were delivered exactly as explained over the phone.

We highly recommend contacting Lester at Hidden Fence if considering using this type of product.
"

"Jim is extremely friendly and responsive. However, as the weeks stretched into months - and he increased the costs of services twice, my patience grew thin. It took nearly 3 months for 2 bathroom renovations. And throughout the process Jim and his team kept asking us basic questions you would think a home contractor would know.
One of the questions was "how high do you want your shower curtain bar?" It's literally a standard size (75-77 inches). When I came home, it was installed ~6 feet off the ground. I'm 6'4 and was pretty confused why it was so low. I had to ask them to move it.
Similar experience with them placing mirrored medicine cabinets. One bathroom has them so low I can't see my face without squatting. The other bathroom (because we complained) has it so high my wife can't see her face.
Jim subs out most of his work. We were very lucky that his tile crew did an exceptional job. The rest of the work is pretty mediocre for the price we paid.
"

"Another GREAT job completed.

I hired Mark again due to the excellent work he did on rebuilding and installing fascia board so that our new gutters could

be properly mounted.

Sections of our porch floor have been replaced over the years, by other contractors, due to deterioration and water damage.

No one ever addressed the need to rebuild parts of the undercarriage, resulting in a job that looked great cosmetically but wasn't very

stable. So we kept spending money to repair the previous repairs.

Again, due to his knowledge of construction and of old houses, he explained this problem. He outlined what needed to be done

and helped me to prioritize the order of repairs. When you have an historic house this is important, as repairs are costly

and most people have to budget them and consider what is the most important repair to address first.

I believe we could have saved money, a lot of it, if he had done the initial repairs.

What a beautiful job he did! The porch looks great, and when you walk on it is solid and stable. Finally!

"
