"We had 3 bids on the work all were fairly similar, but Bob lester's quote did included a little more in the pricing. We decided to go with Bob Lester partly because of the pricing, but also because Bob appeared to be very honest and was extremely helpful. When they came out to do the job they were very prompt and did the job as expected, the were extremely well organized, clearing as they were going. They even did a few extra things we were not initially anticipating to help us out. Overall we were very impressed with Bob Lester and his team and we will definitely use them again for our tree maintenance.

"I contacted five tree removal services for estimates. Richard's Tree Care was the only one who has yet to provide me with an estimate. I do not know what the problem is. I initially attempted to establish an appointment by using the online form on their website. After three or four days of not hearing from them, I decided to contact them by telephone. I did get hold of someone and set up an appointment. The guy came out. Took my list of what was to be done. We went around the yard discussing each tree. At the end, he said he would email me the estimate. I asked if he had my email address. He assured me that the office had it and my telephone number. I waited five days; emailed the office, and still have not heard from them. But, I had to move on. I believe that I gave them ample time to respond, but they chose not to or their communication system is not operating properly. Don't know. Don't care at this point."

They removed two dead trees, removed another that was growing into power lines, trimmed three large maple trees and trimmed a row of leyland cypresses that were "leggy". There obviously was a lot of debris and nothing was left behind. It looked great and it was the agreed price - very professional work. I will use them again!"

The Greentree guy (I am sorry he verbally told me his name, but I have forgotten it).I provided him with my list of what exactly I wanted done and I accompanied him around the yard pointing out the trees and discussing the job. He seemed to know what he was talking about and provided me with what I thought was useful information. When we were finished, he verbally gave me an estimate and gave me some information about Greentree's schedule and openings. I thanked him for his time and he left. The estimate he gave me was the lowest estimate I received, however it was not written down nor did he provide me with any supporting paperwork like all the rest. It may just be me but I was someone uncomfortable with this approach to business. It may have worked out perfectly well if I had decided to go with Greentree, and maybe they are so busy they don't need to be more business like. In any case, despite the low estimate, I was just not comfortable with Greentree. Other's may feel differently."

From the initial scheduling and estimation process to the completion of the job, the crew performed in a professional, determined and expeditious manner. initially I had a good deal of anxiety given the location of one of my tress and its proximity to power lines, but as the process unfolded the teamwork, re-direction and methodical cutting quickly allayed all my fears. The team worked very well together, and many times exhibited enjoyment in their work. The trees are now gone, but my memory of the Tree People will linger on. Great Job !!"
