"We were in the unfortunate position of needing to replace two HVAC units in our home at the same time. We learned that our son is sensitive to mold and found that our existing units, which were 15 years old, had mold in the plenum. We reached out to five local A/C businesses in efforts to find a person or company we felt comfortable with who would install two new, trustworthy HVACs with a filtration system to combat mold. Adam at Cool Tech was the last person we met with of the five businesses, and ultimately the one who earned our trust. Where some of the companies saw an opportunity to add lots of extra bells and whistles (because of our son's sensitivity), Adam was honest and straightforward about what was necessary and what was not. "I engaged CFP Remodeling & Construction (out of Pearland) for landscaping services at my East End property, which included installing approximately 165 sq feet of St. Augustine sod. Shortly after installation, I observed that a significant portion of the sod was not healthy. I reached out to Jessenya Akerman at CFP Remodeling & Construction, who indicated they would inspect the issue. Despite several delays, Ms. Akerman suggested that increased watering might resolve the problem. After spending $90 on additional watering, the sod remained in poor condition. I contacted Ms. Akerman again; although assurances were made about revisiting, no follow-up occurred. Eventually, I received an email explaining that personal circumstances had caused the delays and promising efforts to rectify the situation. However, subsequent correspondence stated that the company considered the installation complete and did not plan further action. Based on my experience, I found communication inconsistent, scheduling unstructured, and customer service lacking in follow-through. Therefore, I am unable to recommend CFP Remodeling & Construction and would advise considering other reputable landscaping providers on the island for your home improvement needs."
