"The young guy who did the work was prompt and professional, but not well trained. He power washed my patio BEFORE blowing the leaves and sticks off my roof, so all the debris landed on my just cleaned patio, and he didn't follow up to clean it off.
He forgot to do the garage door and was all packed up when he asked me to inspect, so I just let it ride.

"I hired Herman to remove two large shrubs from my backyard. He was prompt, worked non stop and was easy to work with. I am giving less than 5 on work quality because he missed removing some of the roots. I had a bit of post work clean up to do in my yard when he was done and I didn't see the roots until a few days after. Roots were covered with post work branches and leaves left on the ground. I texted him to please return to handle the left roots but I didn't hear from him. This is minor really, but wanted to call it out. When I get to the point of replanting I'll call him and he can deal with the roots then. I would handle root removal but I do not have the tools to dig down in the ground that far. The reason I did not give 5 stars on value for money is because he quoted one price, I hired him and then after the work was done he upped the price another $50. I did not argue because he worked really hard that day and had a helper. I usually don't take kindly to those who change their pricing, but he and his helper worked really hard that day, maybe harder than we all thought so I gladly paid him the extra $50. I call it a tip."

FAQs for post construction clean up projects in Crows-Landing, CA

Plan on one hour of cleaning for every 100 to 200 square feet. That means a two-to-four-person crew will spend eight to 12 hours on a full-size home.

Your pro will walk the space first, size it up, and give you a more precise timeline to be sure every lofty ceiling, baseboard, and tight corner gets the same white-glove attention.

Cleaning fine dust after construction requires a combined approach of detailed dusting and high‐powered vacuuming. Begin by wiping high surfaces such as ceiling fans, walls, window sills, and countertops to eliminate deposited particles. Next, vacuum all floors, carpets, and hard surfaces and mop afterward to remove residual dust. Finally, clean HVAC returns, supply vents, and replace filters to ensure a completely dust‐free environment.

You’ll need safety gear and heavy-duty tools. At minimum, you should wear a respirator, eye protection, and work gloves. Then, bring in a HEPA-filter shop vac, wet mops, microfiber cloths, and a carpet shampooer to lift dust from every surface.

Pros also keep extra filters and trash bags on hand so they can swap them out mid-job and keep the cleanup running smoothly from start to finish.

Book your post-construction cleanup for one to two days after the last tool leaves the site. That 24- to 48-hour buffer lets dust settle so the crew can snag every speck in one visit.

Touch base with your contractor before you lock in a date; if their punch-list slips, you’ll want to shift the cleaning slot to avoid costly rescheduling and make sure the house is truly move-in ready.
