"I hired JC Fence to install a 6 ft cedar privacy fence around the perimeter of my yard. They did a beautiful job, everyone who comes over comments on what a nice fence it is. Their estimate was comparable to estimates from other companies, but by far JC Fence was the most responsive and professional in their communications. I highly recommend hiring this company."

"The overall experience was good. There were definite ups and downs about the project but in the end the company stayed true to their word. The original estimates were very kind and overly willing to give us all the history of Statewide, including their 30 years in business and highly trained foremen. I actually missed our first appointment, but they were kind enough to reschedule with me. The men were on-time and measured the fence quickly. My husband and I had to point out an error on their dimension, which caused them to remeasure a small piece of fence. It was a done deal when the wrote up the estimate $3000 less expensive than the two others that had come our way. However, the issues began there. Had I better understood what I was looking at I would have realized that although the "blue print" had the accurate footage, there arrangement there of was off due to that extra footage that they went back to measure. I was told about 4-6 weeks out, and the project started at 6 week and 1 day out which I was fine with me. I thought that was pretty spot on. A week before the job, I received a phone call about my double wide gate. The gentleman full explained that the measurements were not sustainable for the weight, and that they were going to make some adjustments, which translated to upgrades, at no additional cost to us. When the men arrived they were pleasant and eager to start. They were very knowledgeable in their trade and clearly hard workers. They started immediate. We took a look at the "blue prints" and we spoke VERY clearly about my expectations. Including a 3' gate and a small piece of fence that attached to the back of the garage enclosing the yard. When I returned home I found that the piece enclosing the garage was not complete. Strange because we talked dimension, lining it up with the new pole, breaking the concrete etc. When I called the office Raphael gave me quite the run around and ended the conversation with "Well Ma'am that is why we give you that estimate. You should not sign that if it's not correct." Well, Raphael, I do not debate that, however, YOU are the experts, I AM NOT. I expect that when I ask you to re-measure something like a gate, or small section of fence attaching to the garage, that you are going to do so appropriately. After all this I actually had to do the math for them and point out that 34ft (total length) divided by 8ft(per section) is infact 4.25 sections. Approximately the .25' that was included in the overall footage to include my dinky section between the fence and the garage. I am a working mother and my biggest concern was not if you drew a one inch line on you blueprint from the fence to the garage. I feel as if I was talked down to, as if I was below him. Regardless this ordeal cost me time out of work, and energies not well spent. When the project was completed I found that my 3' gate was made in such away that you could LITERALLY not open it from the outside. The handle was badly installed leaving less than and inch of finger space to lift the latch. Also there was an ugly broken picket on the front facing gate. Raphael was overly happy to have these issues fixed, and they did fix them within 72hours. The final product is incredible. The work is well done and with craftsmanship. I would recommend them and use them again. The price and the value matched and that was worth the money. I just hope that this experience does not get forgotten and that it helps the improve customer service and the initial estimate process because they really have something special here."

"AEP Services is a fantastic organization. They really take care of their customers. My wife and I moved into a new home a few years ago. We had AEP install a new fence. Their work was wonderful. Years later, we needed a post re-stabilized. They came out same day and fixed it immediately. I cannot say enough good things about this company and the way they support their customers!"

"This company provided a remarkable value. First the estimator was very professional and provided a price 30% below the next best estimate. The quality of the fencing panels was first rate. The work was completed on time. The professional installers did a terrific job of installation in a few hours AND cleaned up the area after the job. Even going so far as to rake smooth the pre-grass seeding area disturbed by the post digging. You can't ask for more than top quality for a good price! <br />"

"It went well. The rep from the fence company, Ernie, was pleasant, knowlegeable, and seemed trustworthy. The bid was priced under another provider's and a stronger, reinforced gate alternative was quoted as well. We went for the reinforced gate option. We had to wait a while for the installation, but we were told that ahead of time. Because this was a small project, it would be something they would do on an afternoon that another job would finish early, and that was fair to us, though it went on a week or two longer than first anticipated, but we weren't worried, we were just anxious to have our missing gate replaced. The two installers were pleasant as well, and they put the gate together well. Multiple owners of a condo association had to approve the work, and they all did."

"Ray was very good about calling back to schedule an appointment for an estimate and gave us an estimate on the spot. While we are mostly pleased with the new fence, we are unhappy with the amount of debris left in our yard. I had to specifically request that huge chunks of concrete be removed. Also, the workers who installed the fence did not go around and make sure than any old posts were hammered down into the ground until I asked them to. That's not cool. If you're going to do the job, do it right. We are still finding stray pieces of wire, etc. on the ground."

"Noah was a pleasure to work with and did a beautiful job renovating our sunroom, which was in terrible shape--rotting paneling and woodwork, old carpet, a ridiculous window into the living room. He and his crew were able to transform the room into a lovely, comfortable space, and do some additional work (repointing chimney, basement ceiling repairs, window calking) in a little more than a couple weeks. He came up with creative solutions to address the woodwork problem in the sunroom, and the resulting craftsmanship is perfect and looks great. He and his crew are cheerful, punctual and conscientious, and we enjoyed doing business with them. Their work is careful and professional, with constant attention to detail. We highly recommend Ark Home Improvement and intend to use them again when we are ready to redo our kitchen."
