"This small and very crowded store is loaded with lampshades. We purchased four lampshades, two harps, and two finials. Two of the lampshades, the harps and the finials were fine. We brought four lamps to the store and Miriam was very helpful in finding four shades to fit the lamps. In the store we saw the shades Miriam selected for our lamps wrapped in cellophane on and match our lamps. Once home we removed the cellophane wrapping and two of the lampshades were too white for our cream colored lamps and adjoining couch. The color looked fine in the store, but not at home with the cellophane removed. We immediately notified the store owner that we were returning two of the lampshades and keeping everything else. Miriam informed us that there are signs in the store saying that once the cellophane is removed there are no returns. On re-visit I saw the signs. Given that the shades were in perfect shape and we were keeping most of our purchase I thought they would be taken back or we would be charged a re-wrapping fee. However the attitude was “see the signs.” Wish them well, but we will not be back."
