He is actually willing to try to repair equipment, unlike many other lesser companies that merely put in new stuff.  If you have any issues with your pool and spa, these are the people to call: they will fix anything and will always provide you with the best options.  Bill, the specialist who came to work on the unusual configuration of equipment for my small indoor pool and spa, demonstrated a great deal of experience, ability and honesty.  BJ Pool & Spa might not seem cheap, however, given their vast knowledge, experience and technical ability, they will provide you with quality service and advice that will save you money in the long run.  Their competence and integrity is extremely reassuring.  It isn't always easy to find a good pool company (this industry isn't as regulated as other professions), and it took me a while to find this one. BJ Pool will be the company I call when I want honest and reliable service

"My pool couldnt even be called a pool at the time an estimate was provided. The previous owner of my home atempted to turn a liner pool into a concrete pool and use kitchen tiles along the wall. Needless to say the base of the pool cracked, broke and I could literally see dirt. The service manager at Subcomm pools communicated their concerns and the quoted price along with their plan of action. They communicated consistently and always kept me abreast of what was going on. They are very courteous and will go the extra mile to ensure I was satisfied. They took the time to answer any questions that I had. They also directed me to reading material that assisted with the maintenance of my pool. Very courteous staff and hard working. They were in the heat of the sun and still kept driving on. I would bring them a pitcher of water and ice everyday and they were very grateful."

He repaired a pair of huanghwali northern hat chairs for me, and then I sent them to auction and they made $25k. He has restored a series of other pieces of furniture for me, and I don't believe it would have been possible to do better. He restored a Renaissance revival server for me, and I gave him its mate in gratitude. He picks up and delivers, all with an old-world charm that you no longer find in his business."

"This project could have been the type to cause months of stress and frustration with any other contractor, but Christian and the folks at 5th Gen made sure it didn't. We had the floor of an entire room ripped up because of water damage, including the structure down to the dirt and part of the wall. "Things went very well. Just like the Angie"s List reviews I had seen before selecting this provider, he was very prompt, professional and courteous. He worked me in within 24 hours so we could leave town on vacation the next day knowing our problems were fixed and our house-sitter would have a functioning sink and dishwasher while we were gone. The sink clog wasn't even part of my original work order request but he took time to take a look and repair on the spot. He then kindly rolled that repair into my $75 appliance repair price at no extra charge. Also of note and very important to me was the fact that he did not try to sell me something I did not need. I felt for sure I was going to need a new heating element after seeing how badly my knife handle had melted onto ours. Instead A Plus Appliances was able to clean my current heating element and prevent replacement saving us a lot of time and money.
