"Fernando is the owner and landscape professional. We asked him for a quote to remove and trim many trees and shrubs and landscaping our front yard. The Front yard had become overgrown because our gardener did not have the time or wherewithal to maintain it. Fernando gave us an estimate for the job which was quite high, but he told us he would do excellent and complete work and would maintain by coming twice a month the cut the grass and trim the trees and bushes, so we agreed on that basis. He did a good job of removing the unwanted trees and bushes. He went with us to the nursery to buy new plants and did a good job of planting and fertilizer. Afterward, he came only a few times and then stopped coming or answering my calls. In the few times he came, he charged extra for repairing sprinklers and trimming the large trees, complained he was spending too much time, changed the monthly fee to a per visit fee that increased the price about $20/month, and tried to sell me on additional high-cost services like additional tree removal. He was good on the initial job, and I would recommend him for one-time trimming/removal/landscaping, but I cannot recommend his lack of professionalism, failure to maintain the landscape as he promised, and the high prices he charges."

"We used CGS Electric once before several years ago and liked their work and reviews on Angie's List, so we had Claudio come back for this job. As always, he was easy to schedule for an appointment and arrived promptly.  We had purchased two new ceiling fans and he installed them for us. One replaced an old fan that wasn't working properly and the other replaced an overhead ceiling light. Both look great now and Claudio programmed the remote controls for us and showed us how to use them.  Likewise on the outdoor lighting, he replaced two non-functioning lights with new ones that we had purchased.   <br /> We were very happy with the installations and plan to have CGS come back in the near future to install another ceiling fan in a room where there is currently no electrical box in the ceiling..  CGS also can install phone jacks, cable wiriing, etc. and we plan to use those services in the future. I would recommend them to friends. <br />"

"Had old fluorescent lights.  This company specializes in replacing those old lights with new LED lighting highlighted by a new, finished, more up to date look along with a crown moulding trim. <br /> These guys KNEW what they were doing.  The job went perfectly and came out great. They had TWO rooms to do (kitchen and pantry) and finished in one day.  Left the house cleaner than it was when they started.  Couldn't be happier with the service and the finished product.  All in all, a wonderful experience. <br />"

"I called to set up an appointment for redesigning our backyard.  He came to our house at the scheduled time exactly.  He is a remarkably kind and gentle person.  My wife and I had a general idea of what we wanted, but we were pretty flexible and open to new ideas.  After an initial conversation about what we were looking for, he went to the backyard and spent a while back there.  Afterwards, he came inside and went over the entire plan with us with drawn out plans.  He designed the entire project with a lot of detail, with some great ideas, both big and small, that we never would have though of ourselves.  The amount of detail he gave was incredible given the amount of time he spent on it (a total of 3 hours).  He even laid out where to put specific plants, landscape lights, etc.  He gave input on colors and styles.  Looking at the final product, now that it is completed, it looks better than we ever imagined it would.  We've gotten a lot of great comments, including one saying how well thought out the project was.  A lot of that credit goes to Andy. <br />"

"Keith is the guy who you want to call for any electrical needs. He worked in my budget. The work he did was fantastic. I was really pleased with the increase in light in the hallways. He gave me a few tips on changing out some switches and electrical sockets. Keith said to call him if I had any trouble. I did have trouble and called him on two different occasions and he talked me through how to wire them correctly. Seriously, I have written about three reviews in my life and Keith at KBP Electric is the answer to your needs. <br />"

"I called Berk's on a Thursday and got an appointment for the following Monday which was convenient for us since it is my husband's day off.  Roman, their electrician, put an outlet on the wall behind a painting so that we could install a picture light over the painting and the wires would not show.  He looked at the wall and the fixture that we had purchased and knew just what to do.  He pulled electricity from an nearby outlet and install an electrical wall box into the wall behind the painting.  We could then screw the light fixture to the frame and plug it in just behind the painting.  You cannot even tell there is an electrical box there.   <br /> We were very pleased with how quickly Roman worked and how neat he was.  We used a 10% off coupon from Angie's List and that saved us $20.00.  I will definitely use Berk's Electrical and Lighting again when we need any electrical work done.  <br />"
