"We bought our house in 2012 in Montgomery County, MD. This may not seem impressive - roofs aren't supposed to leak. However, both my sister and parents have had new roofs put on their houses in the intervening years - they live several States away so could not use Central Exteriors. Both had leak issues after having the new roofs put on and had to have the roofer come back out to fix things - in my sister's case it took several return visits and some major work to make things right. Central Exteriors were price competitive with other roofing companies I consulted with, and gave me a 50 year warranty on the shingles and workmanship, which nobody else offered. "So please that I went with JW. The side entry porch had rotted wood throughout and the steps were sagging. Also, exterior house paint had been removed years ago but prior owners did not address one side of house, probably cause it was hidden behind crepe myrtles. Crepe myrtles are now gone and that wall is very visible on the street. Also there were some little jobs needed around the house such as replacing rotted boards above the garage. Got a quote from JW in late April and scheduled the work for the week of July 21 for 6-7 days of work. Two workers showed up promptly on the 21st and did a great job. "After a flood in our finished basement, we contacted Chevy Chase Remodeling to fix some flood damage and, since we already had to do work in that living space, some remodeling. Overall, most of the work is spectacular. As part of the work we also asked them to finish our laundry room. The drywallers accidentally placed an extension cord behind the drywall but when my husband flagged the issue, they were good enough to come back and correct the situation by giving us access! To be clear, we did not anticipate that dealing with an extension cord would be considered "electrical work" nor did we imagine that their solution would be to wall it up or, when flagged, just cut a hole in the drywall and leave it. For the wiring to the Verizon box, there was enough leeway for a far more elegant solution that would have the majority of the wires behind the drywall without the need for the crew to have done anything more than to push the wires into an appropriate spot. No disconnects or special expertise required. Just a little common sense. See the pictures attached."
