"I hired Baumann's Lawn and Landscape to fix my front lawn. The soil was mostly clay and sand and covered in weeds. They killed and removed all the vegetation, tilled the soil, brought in new topsoil, conditioned/fertilized, and then laid sod. The crew was fast, efficient, polite, and did an amazing job (hopefully this site allows me to upload photos after writing this). The work was done in 3 separate days and took less than 2 weeks from the initial phone call to the finished installation. The price is what you would expect for this level of work and that much sod (sod is not cheap). They're not over-priced but it's not Bob's discount landscaping either. You'll get your money's worth for your project. Baumann's will be my #1 choice for future landscape projects."

"Excellent! Jose was very responsive through the entire process, from the initial contact on Angie's list, to coming to give an estimate of the work, to scheduling and completing the job. This was a large job - we had removed a retaining wall and needed to fill it in with dirt before planting the grass seen. Jose worked with me in order to estimate the amount and type of dirt in order to keep the cost down and still give us the result we wanted. The job was completed quickly and the results look great."

"Working with Arthur and the Ballard Enterprises team was a great experience. They did an amazing job with the landscaping, cleanup, and retaining wall. I nearly cried because I haven't seen the outside of my home look decent in so long. :-) The brick for the retaining wall is beautiful and it seems to "brighten" the home. Pouring concrete for a pathway or driveway can wreak havoc in your yard, but these guys were so meticulous and careful to only drive on my lawn and put dirt on my lawn. (I have a semi-detached home). They cleaned up everything nicely and even reseeded my grass where the track marks from the truck were. I have already contracted with GPRO for some additional landscaping. "Angie's list had a deal for up to 4 hrs of leaf removal, so we thought we would try them. We originally schedule a Monday at 9:00am, but they didn't show. When we finally contacted them (the voice mailbox was full), they thought it was for the following Monday. Ok, so there was a misunderstanding. So the next Monday comes and they don't show up again. There was snow on the ground, which was an exclusion in the deal, so we expected a notification that they weren't coming. None came until after we reached out to them. We were told that they had emailed, but we never received one. We rescheduled for Thursday at 9:00am. They called early Thursday to say they would be there in the afternoon. They finally did the work that day. I will say they got most of the leaves off the yard, but it looks like they ruffed up the turf some with their powerful vacuums. But most annoying was the large pile of leaves they left in the walkout, which I had to deal with so they wouldn't block the drain. So I'd say that they certainly removed the leaves from the yard, but they lacked finesse, weren't particularly careful at cleaning up afterward, and were hard to contact."

"Kevin showed up on time and was very knowledgeable and professional. We had a previous company, SPC, who would only come out when requested and weren’t very good. Problems they supposedly had resolved were not, but Kevin took the time to explain what he found and why the problem (mice) still existed. He put out traps and poisons to rid the mice, and immediately scheduled a follow up to ensure everything was taken care of and another just for maintenance. All covered under the service contract. Plus, if you use them for lawn care (also excellent service) as well the initial fee is waived."
