"We interviewed 5 different Heating & Air companies before deciding on Heating & Cooling Two. We absolutely loved them from start (coming into our home and letting us know what they could do for us), to having them come and complete the project. There was never any high pressure and the price was great, especially for all THREE (heating/A/C & water heater). On May 25, 2022, Josh & Mitch showed up in the morning to get started, despite cool drizzly weather. They were installing a new furnace & A/C, as well as a new water heater. We were so impressed by how steadily they worked, even while indulging my questions along the way. These guys barely stopped for water breaks. They disconnected and removed old equipment, carefully removing it from the house. They had spread drop cloths and were very thoughtful about trying to keep our house clean (more so than my kids!!). This was a big project and their coordination of having an electrician come in when they needed was spot on. Everything was done seamlessly. Josh & Mitch were a great team, with Josh working inside and Mitch working outside on the A/C. Josh asked if it was alright to work beyond 4:00PM, as he was willing to come back the next day, if we wanted him to finish later. We were fine with him staying, and he did, until around 8:15PM. His dedication was incredible and his attention to detail was fantastic. Everything looks & performs wonderfully. He cleaned up everything, after finishing and even called from the road, to make sure he hadn’t left anything behind. Josh went over the details of the invoice before leaving. He shared how all of the rebates would be sent to us, but submitted by Heating & Cooling Two. We loved the “no muss fuss” on our end. We called the inspectors in our city (Bloomington) for a final inspection and they were also very impressed with the work. That was a nice stamp of approval!! Our new hot water heater is giving us great HOT water. Our A/C is working great (important with our current weather forecast). We haven’t used the heat, but know we can count on it. We are tremendously happy with Heating & Cooling Two and HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to anyone seeking new HVAC for their home. They were easy to work with and can do it all. "It went great! We found Fisher Precious Metals on Angie's List, and after googling them, we found they had very positive reviews across the web. Although it was a 45 minute drive from our home, we felt it might be worth it, and it was. We made an appointment with John via email, arrived at 11:00, and spent just over an hour in his office. He evaluated the sterling silver set we had to sell and gave us what we felt was a very fair price. He'd given us an estimate on the value of the gold coins via email, and although the price of gold had fluctuated since he'd provided the quote, the final price was very, very close to the initial quote. We were happy to learn that they will also buy jewelry, as I have a few pieces I haven't worn in a very long time. "Les Jones Roofing did excellent work for us. The circumstances were unusual. We hired them for a job that was beyond our abilities, but too small to interest any of the other companies we contacted: to fix a gap in our house’s fascia that could have allowed insects or rodents to nest inside. A power line connects to our house near the gap in the fascia, so Les Jones would have to coordinate with the electric company to shut off power during the repair (a “line drop”). This coordination proved difficult for many months. On several occasions, Les Jones crews showed up on the day of the scheduled line drop, but the electric company had not shut off power, making the planned repair impossible. Nevertheless, the crews continued to do useful work when they showed up, including new tasks that we tacked on. In addition to cutting and painting the wood that they planned to use to repair the fascia, Les Jones teams fixed some small holes in our roof that our home inspector had noticed, and patched up a decorative finial on our roofline that had become damaged by snow after we’d signed the contract to fix the fascia. Throughout it all, the Les Jones representatives we dealt with in person, via email, and over the phone were consistently professional and friendly, even in very frustrating situations. Finally, the electric company came through on the scheduled day with the promised line drop, the weather cooperated, and the Les Jones crew fixed the fascia. The bill we received at the end of this unusual project was reasonable and contained no surprises. On the basis of this experience, we would definitely hire Les Jones Roofing again!"
